Thanks Steve, I remember the festa well ,When we visited Malta we always stayed in or around Mellieha , lots of noise and fireworks.

We stayed in mellieha one year when the mellieha feast was on we loved it, we watched the fireworks just behind the hotel we were staying at, the panorama hotel.
Yes it was my first time also..Really good festa !

As someone who normally enjoys these videos and as a frequent visitor to Malta, I think it’s slightly in bad taste to be broadcasting this on the same day as our Queen passed. I say this after speaking to my former Maltese (ex RAF) work pal who called me up in tears after hearing the sad news.
Dont understand your comments? Its not the same day ? And in fact the festa celebrates Victory day ! Which the queen very much was part of , I guess in that frame of mind you expect No video ,No Tv ? Or no entertainment for how long ?
