Im sooo close to full recovery. I have clear skin, hair and nails have thickened and grown in, I’m not a woman so the period thing doesn’t apply to me lol, but I sleep like a rock, my digestion is so solid that I can eat the spiciest food without incident, I’m not cold anymore, my heart rate is no longer bradycardia, I have more energy… only thing left is the overshoot weight is just chillin on my body. Looking forward to exiting this issue for good and moving on with life.

I has extreme hunger. And I let myself eat until I feel I sick, I eat whatever I want for 1 week. I feel so guilty and afraid that I will have this extreme hunger forever. I eat a lot of unhealthy food. I just want to avoid it but I can't. I want to feel full and satisfied like a normal person. And I just don't know what to do after the full recovery

Thanks for all of your content. Is it possible to be pretty much mentally recovered but not physically? Like not having disordered thoughts anymore but still having the digestive and hormonal issues? Thanks.

Hi Elisa, I'm in my 6th month of full recovery from 32 years of anorexia and 10 years of bulimia. I'm 45 and female. Something I can not find on any recovery channel is what has happened to my skin. In month 2, after the night sweats slowed down, the skin on my hips thighs, and stomach is bright red and hot to the touch. My doctor here in 🇨🇦 doesn't know what it is, and it is painful. There is no "pitting" so I don't know if it is edema but I haven't seen it ever described this way. Have you heard of this? It gets more red and swollen if I do too much in the day/if I'm on my feet over 5 hours. Thankyou in advance ☺️

    YeeeeeeeS !!!
Elisa, I'm so happy to watch this amazing video and be able to put a check on most of the signs you've described
Recovery may be "long" but it really worth it.
    Thanks for your kind reminder
    Kisses ❤️

if you are doing everything on your part to fully recover and still feel something is off after 2 years then some other facts could also contribute to this and you may want to see a doctor to rule out any other issues. as I said in the video, not all health issues are gone with recovery and there may be other stuff that need to be treated medically ❤

@@FollowTheIntuition Thanks for your answer. I think I'm maybe stuck in quasi recovery but now I really try to change that. I also started eating animal products after years being vegan...maybe that's a bit "new" for my body...

Do you think it’s normal having huge edema and bloating? I keep on going back and forth in my recovery, the edema and weight gain seems worse now when I fast bc of fear (thanks Ed). Before going into recovery it helps but now it makes things worse and it feels like I’m going straight into obesity 😔😔😔😔

I’ve had extreme hunger since March last year!!!! Any tips? It’s all mental and I’m now overweight :) I just want it to stop!

    • @FollowTheIntuition

its hard to give advice as I don't know your whole situation. don't know how consistent you have been in your recovery or any ways you might be still restricting or holding back. normally extreme hunger (eating large amounts of foods in one go) has a biological reason - it might be that you are still restricting somewhere (not only calories, but maybe types of foods, or compensating for example) but another thing is mental restriction when we may eat a lot of food but mentally still have the same response as when we were restricting (good/bad foods mindset, focusing on weight etc) because our body and mind and connected and mental restriction can also affect our behaviors and even things like hunger cues. you can search on my channel videos about mental restriction.

How long did it take in your recovery for the bloating to go away?
