Timeless Kustoms' 1954 ZR1 Corvette Blown LS9 | The Death Star

- Jason and the guys at Timeless Kustoms build some of my favorite pro touring cars on the planet! Vicious Mustang is probably the most well known of all the TK cars built but this 1954 ZR1 Corvette is probably one of Jasons greatest builds. It's simple in it's approach but has an exotic flair for it's time. Before the ZR1 Corvette was released in 2009 Jason managed to get from GM the LS9 motor that would be in the first 100 ZR1 Corvette's. This car produces 590 hp at the wheels and only weighs 2100 lbs!!! The power to weight ratio is beautifully absurd on this one but that's another thing Jason and Timeless Kustoms is known for...building big power cars that look amazing and drive like true pro touring cars should. Hard and fast!

C1 Corvettes were never really my favorite, but this one is just stunning. Such a killer build. A 600hp go-cart with really pretty lines.

Ms. H & Mr. J there is a different cage for track driving. And 5 point harnesses. Fairly safe. Agreed these little roll bars suck but for street driving I wasn’t worried.

I just started and I can clearly see you're getting a ton of power out of that old Blue Flame 6! LOL! The car is just SO RIGHT! Love the color....perfect! The 'Vette's got it all over the Vicious Mustang in my humble estimation.
Many of these high-dollar resto-mod type cars don't always push the right buttons visually, but this one was done really tastefully. As for the rest of the car it's just mental. 2100 lbs!!!

If I had never in my life seen a '62 or earlier Vette I'd never guess that this '54 "ZR1" was based on an American car. It's so gorgeous. Looks Italian in origin.

Usually guys are building late 50's and newer, really liked the exterior color but not the interior.

I agree. We got cut short on shooting as the car was going out on transport. Was supposed to leave at noon and it got pushed up to 11 am so we had to get what we could. I'll try to do another one that shows more of the details cause there's a lot of details hidden in this gem.
