    U.S. Marines with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron Iwakuni, Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 171, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, and 3rd Marine Logistics Group, worked alongside airmen with 9th Civil Engineer Squadron, 9th Mission Support Group, 99th Civil Engineer Squadron, 99th Mission Support Group, 316th Civil Engineer Squadron, 316th Mission Support Group, 355th Civil Engineer Squadron, 355th Mission Support Group, 35th Civil Engineer Squadron, and 35th Mission Support Group, to participate in Exercise Tanuki Bandit at Draughon Range, Aomori, Japan, June 24-28, 2024. Tanuki Bandit promotes readiness for Explosive Ordnance Disposal members in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force by training them as integrated teams for a variety of scenarios.
