(Comment 2 as I got further into the video). Sebastian, You can skip Prada Ocean EDT. I tried the EDT at Macy’s and it wasn’t very memorable, but I did purchase Ocean EDP and I really like it. It doesn’t really smell ocean-y (I don’t think any of them are), but the EDP smells resinous and ambery. It has a simple note breakdown: Opening - Grapefruit, Mid - Frankincense, Base - Vanilla, Amber Extreme. All 3 of the concentrations all smell really different, as they don’t build on each other. Just wanted to offer my .2 cents. Be well.
I absolutely love Ralph Club Elixir. It’s amazing, and also Boss Bottled Elixir, and Boss Bottled Pacific. Those are all fairly recent, right? Ralph Polo 67 is brand new and I like that one a lot too.
That Habit Rouge is sounding so good for me. I have worn the EDP and now this parfum seems like I need to get as well.

Seb, I really felt the prada ocean edp was lacking on my skin, compared to ocean edt. You must grab yourself the Edt. Especially for Sans Frans weather in the heat.

I finally got a chance to smell Hermes H24 Herbe Vives. My goodness , I love the sweet pear notes, pear granita. I didn’t know how to process the cooling agent. It has excellent longevity on skin. On paper , it’s still kicking. Found this at Neiman Marcus. I actually have H24 EDT and this one has its own charm. Summer scent of the year for me. Also to add HV doesn’t have a strong metallic note. The cooling note tries to mimic the note but comes off like a cashmere note.
They are diluting them yet charging more, how is that even fair??

That may be some good content having a novice nose describing smells and then you share your knowledge about the fragrance. Just a scent to sniff and mull over 😆

For stronger with you tobacco i get more tobacco leaf. Honestly out of all the middle eastern Swy the featured note in this one is the most distinct. Its a great layering combo too the swy tobacco and red tobacco combination i wore of it smellef amazing.

Love Herbes Vives! I was late to the H24 party and just got the EDP, but wish I had gotten Herbes Vives instead. I like the EDP, it's really nice, but Herbes Vives is even better. I need to get my nose on that L'homme Ideal. I've never tried any from the line so I need to try them and see what they're all about.
Herbes Vives is so good. It's my fave of the three now! :)

Man In Black Parfum smells great, but yeah. I expected more in the performance department.
I really love both L'Homme Ideal Parfum and Habit Rouge Parfum. I just prefer the EDP versions of both of them, tbh. Ideal Parfum is a bit weak on my skin even though it smells awesome (close to the Extreme, just without the intense Tobacco), and I kinda prefer the scent of Habit Rouge EDP compared to the Parfum.
Boss Triumph Elixir is good too, but I prefer the Elixir.
H24 Herbes Vives is great. I'm not too sure about the performance, but it smells really good. Cooler and mintier, more wearable than the other two H24s.
Have you come across the house of layer parfums? They have some amazing fragrances. A niche house
I know it wasn't part of the list, but the Fahrenheit mention caught my ear. :) I didn't even know there was an Absolut version, and going by price, it may be a while before I ever smell it. Been wearing Fahrenheit since I was young, before I even knew what Dior was, or any of that jazz.
(today's is Ahuja Royal Bleu, with a spritz of MFK Bacc 540 extrait to layer)

Speaking about how disappointing the performance of BVLGARI Men in Black Parfum went just reminds me I’m a huge Van Cleef & Arpels Extraordinaire Collection fan, I currently own about 7 bottles from this collection (that you have recommended), they’re all EDP but some of them such as Moonlight Patchouli, I feel like they only lasts mostly about 2 hours, then I can barely smell anything, meanwhile some commercial perfumerie like CHANEL or Dior’s EDP significantly lasts longer, I’m wondering why?

I love to try a lot. I sell the ones I hate but it's going to be really good for future videos. Honestly though I wore so much Diesel scents in the 90s and into the 2000s and they were so damn good. But now they suck!

The Tom Ford/Estee Lauder rep on the West Coast told me it's a rebranding but I don't know. I must sniff first. But it's going to quite pricey! :(

The Hermes for sure. Because vanilla might get cloying in the heat and the Hermes has the ice cold cooling effect! :)

The designer fragrance curmudgeon is back! The El Exigente of the designer review community! Regarding Man In Black Parfum, while I don't have it, it would be interesting if you re-visited it in a year. I'm finding that quite a few of my bottles get much stronger over time. That might be true for all your new bottles and would also be a good subject for a few videos. What bottles from your immense collection have gotten stronger than you remember?
I was looking forward to Stronger With You Tobacco. I don't get Armani/L'Oreal. Their perfumer/chemists are probably from the best schools and are smart enough to know that tobacco based scents are popular, although I don't know why Aramis' Tobacco Reserve didn't sell more. I was hoping that SWY Tobacco would have a similar strong tobacco feel to it. Perhaps the tobacco will shine more as the bottle gets older? At least the entire collection looks great next to each other on the shelf. They still all smell terrific, nonetheless.
This is starting to sound like the annoying kilian and their stupid LDBS story. You buy it but don't wear it until the color changes. At that time it will get stronger. LOL! Baloney! I understand fragrances do mature and macerate and age to perfection but honestly doing it with everything gets annoying after a while. Why?

If forced to pick one house forever, Tom Ford could be the one. I bought Oud Minerale and thought the opening interesting. Eventually it dried down to a fairly uninspiring ‘dude’ scent. Only Vanilla Sex has disappointed me more.

Why is everyone sleeping on the 2024 relaunch of Milleseme 1849 by Creed? It’s so unique. It reminds me of Green Irish Tweed + Royal Oud with Jasmine. It lasts hours too. The smell stays in my clothes until I wash them.
