2016 curry was the best offensive player of all time, the numbers he put up was absurb imagine he didnt sit out in the 4th
Thank you!! I don’t know people glows over the fact that he was basically playing 3 quarters
Its hard to believe he wouldn't have avg 4+ more pts if he played in the 4th quarters. 34ppg with 50/45/90 is an unbreakable record. Even then
That shooting percentage from beyond 30 feet(min. 10shots) is crazy! Dude was definition of problem for defenses
No, to many factors got people that can put up the same amount of points and his bag is lacking. No post move not atlethic, great passion ,shooting ,playmaking and iq tho
@@michaelmayers3622 I mean no one’s going to come close to a 50/45/90 avg 34. Even his 2016 stats stands alone as the only scorer to avg 30 on 50/45/90 in the 50/40/90 club. Had he gotten 4 more to his avg, no one would (and this is a bold statement) ever beat that record
honestly. i dont think he was even in his prime back then. I think 2022 Steph was better. Still as quick, but physically stronger, better defensively, better leader. Still as lethal, still catching as much attention from opposing defenses´, still the greatest off-ball threat ive ever seen.
youre right brother ! my man still in is prime!!!!
2016 Steph is clearly better than 2022 Steph it’s not even close. Steph was much quicker, better burst off the dribble, sharper cuts off the ball, and had better rim pressure and was clearly the better scorer and more efficient and his playmaking was much better in 16. 2016 Steph is the Goat Offensive Peak and Steph is the goat offensive player.
I think 2016 was better, however you could argue your point 110% cause Steph was physically stronger player! 💪🔥
@@jyce7375 Steph being stronger is good because it’s makes his game more bulletproof especially come playoff time but Steph was still much better back then
@@reaperproductions9553 defenders guarded in his younger yrs hes definitely better defensively he can get to the rim way better than he could if stephs 3 isnt falling he could still get to the rim constantly he couldn't do that in previous years
Steph wasn’t even in his physical peak of a prime in 2016 and his resume that season alone was insane! My mans averaged 30 a game with 6 assists on 50-40-90 splits taking 11 3s a game, leading the league in scoring and steals, led the warriors to 73 wins, broke his own 3 point record, ended up making 400 3s which is still unheard of to this day, won mvp, and however you feel about his postseason play he still had solid averages and some big games, not to mention leading a 3-1 comeback, and coming up just one game short of another finals win
2021 april curry>>>
21-22 Steph was probably the best Steph season, no Klay, and overrated replacement in Jordan Poole, and more rookies than years past, was absolutely phenomenal, and had it not been for the 2 week injury, that season the warriors could have been at least 6 seed, with no real help
2021 Curry is better than any other version of curry. He was constantly double teamed from the halfcourt line sometimes from the opposite 3pt line, put up insane numbers and broke records
Just an example was may/april where he averaged 40ppg on 50/50/88 splits qhile dropping 10+ 3pts in a game in consecutive games (there have been 5x this has happened, steph has 3 of those and 2 in that season). Easily the greatest offensive player ever
You could argue that and 2021 was my fav curry season, but 2016 was still his best offensive season. If u think about it, he avg 30 on 50/45/90 compared to his 2021 season with 32 on 48/42/90. The only difference is, steph sat out in most of the 4th qt games during the 2016 season and whos to say he wouldn't have avg 3+ more pts if he played those 4qt
@jjsjrs997 context matters. Curry wad 2% off of a 50/40/90 season on a 8 man g league roster. Also without injuries he was on pace for 5th seed. He broke a couple records from his 2016 season as well. All of this while being heavily guarded more then any other time in his career
There Is a very legit argument for 2021 being his best season and one if the goat offensive seasons ever
He did the 10+ threes in consecutive games twice that month, and those games were within a 5-game span. So during a stretch of 5 consecutive games, he made 10+ threes in 4 of them.... absolutely insane
Still in his primes
fr ppl saying the warrior era is over but its not, till curry says its done then its done, but currently its not over till he gets his last championship~~~
He's not in his prime @@Hooper3023
bro said he didnt have mj's
jumpshot
I was thinking that same thing like what? 😂
thank you I was confused as hell
@@Aesthxtics-Or Lebron's athleticism.
He had good athleticism, he just didn’t wanna risk injuries
he has a better one tho
MJ’s jump shot??? 😂😂😂😂

Yes guys he is hoop reports
He might be Steph’s no 1 fan
Bro has 19 channels to glaze the warriors. Gotta love it.
😂😂
Steph Curry will always be my favourite player imagine if he won the 2016 finals and also the 2019 finals if KD didn’t get injured he would’ve had 6 rings definitely putting him in the goat debate
Honestly, I love his legacy and his playstyle, he's definitely my favorite player, but I don't think that would've put him in the GOAT debate...
While still being unprecedently consistent for a pure shooter, specially because he's much more than just a shooter, he did suffer by being kinda inconsistent throughout some times of his career. And although he's not as dependent on his team as most of the other shooters, who used to be just specialized role players, he does need them as he's not as tall and long to see everything and pass it to wherever he wants, nor strong enough to handle or burst through double teams, so it's way harder for a player like him to "carry" a team like LeBron did.
But for me the biggest hit in his legacy was obviously KD, because now there's a big "slice" of those championships where they winning was just "the standard", the Warriors were undoubtely stacked, and to top it all off, KD took all the Finals MVPs with him with his greater consistency, and rightfully so, even though it was still Curry's team. It's almost funny how KDs move kinda "ruined" 3 legends' careers at once, since he's never won anything without Steph, took away part of the meaning of his accomplishments by making a team virtually impossible to win against, and also generated the whole "finals loser" argument against LeBron, even when he was being the clear better player on there court and there wasn't much else to do against that team.
He did bounce back marvelously by winning without KD and getting his first finals MVP many years after what we considered to be his prime, but the hit was still pretty big, specially considering they lost in 2016 and Steph didn't snatch even one of those finals MVPs trophies while KD was there. If he didn't have those instances and also had been able to carry that injured 2019 team, then he'd have a 5-peat and would definitely be at least up there with Kareem.
Unfortunately injuries were always a part of his career as well.
@@SaryM29your comment is great. I'm die hard Dubs lover but i recognize your opinion looks bright here. Maybe it tarnished in a way THE 3 faces of our NBA era but i think it's more of hater side of thinking. As Curry lover, i still think we were better on 2016 but Lebron was always superior to everyone. It's just like that.
@@samwisehuluberlu2210 In my opinion, more than being better, it's about how the league had adapted.
LeBron is a basketball genius, and for me that's what defined that series.
Imo, Stephen Curry evolved a lot and still got way better than his 2016 year, it's just that the league caught up. The whole NBA was lost trying to deal with it back in 2015-2016, and only one guy, who finished the finals averaging almost 5 steals + blocks, figured it out.
Curry Needs one more Ring
Curry is really a very good nba basketball player, the reason why the game of the nba has revolved following his style of play. Now who can do that? Jordan and the Doctor are worth mentioning.
He’s still in his prime… likely even better than ever.
Curry still in his prime at 36 yrs old
Nope. He's still fantastic though.
Google it up
@@julianknows4967 He's wiser now
saying prime steph feels so weird crazy time flies
Bro all these basketball CZcamsrs have the same voice what the heck
It's an ai voice.
@@boombaby16 Dang that’s a good ai voice… actually 🧢
Stephen Curry is an anomaly in the game of basketball. He is a threat anywhere on the court, difficult to stop and almost unstoppable. Even though his peers may envy him, they secretly fear him and can't admit that facing Curry in his prime during the three-point era is like facing MJ in his prime. Despite the denial from others, he is a legend in the game of basketball who has revolutionized the system. He was so unstoppable that he was copied by others. Every team now shoots three-pointers, and every team has a copycat player like Chef trying to copy the success of the GSW. That's why the slinger from GSW who took down many Goliaths in the NBA will forever be marked in history.
He is the man who changed the game for good
He is Stephen Curry, my Goat, the Goat of this 3 point era 👌
It’s wild how everyone rates him and yet I still think he’s overall underrated.
How’s this man not top 10 yet
21'_22 season was the most remarkable of all
Prime Steph was 2019-2022. Bro torched the playoffs in that 2019 season even though they lost in the finals and the rest is history
Oh boy. Now I'm feeling old
Why not post this on your main channel?
you are hoop reports bro
Is this Hoop Reports?
Steph is still on his prime today. 30 points on every game. Such a shame his teamate is his downfall.
He's still in his prime 🤌🏻
0:17 steph does not have mj’s jumpshot??🤣
Was thinking the same thing lol
He doesn't. He has a much better one.
steph the goat
I believe 2019-2022 was Steph’s Peak
Isn’t this @HoopReports video?
I mean, the raptors wouldn’t have won if warriors didn’t lose everybody to injuries during the playoffs. Curry’s basketball is more than just dominance, ESPECIALLY for his size. His way of playing is very unselfish, and very much a team player. It wouldn’t be hard for him to shatter records if he held the ball all the time in his prime, especially when none of the teams knew how to guard him. I hate to say that size matters, but I with the very nature and design of basketball, it does. Just a tall guy standing there already becomes a screen. If a tall guy falls on you, you just might break a bone. The height of the official hoop never changes, so simply by being taller, you have better reach for the rim and less effort to be precise in scoring and rebounds. There’s simply no denying that in such a physical sport, size matters. However, if we are talking about the sheer skill alone, both game IQ and technical skill, or if we have a pound for pound ranking between the players, Curry would simply undeniably be the absolute Greatest Of All Time. It also turns into a different playing field if we only count shooting games like horse. Curry would slaughter all.
type shit
how the hell the did the raptors even get kawaih?
Just remember 2016 steph shot 712 2pt field goals during the entire season he shot over 100 more 3 pointers during the season at 886 3s
dk why this popped up in 2024 but this dude sounds like a great man
I remember when i use to brag him to my older brother saying "watch him , hes the only player who unexpectedly take a shot and goes in 😂" he watched and he was shocked inthink he got 40 plus points that time .Curry was not that big before .That was also the time when he was owned by CURRY 😂
Now everyone shoots like him . Thats a fact. No one shoots the ball like him before he became him
10/10
Still in his prime
Idc what anybody says I’ll take Steph handles over kyrie
Steph basically had 2 primes, in 2016 and in 2022
In my opinion, steph curry is in top 5 players of all time.
1) Michael Jordan
2)Lebron james
3)Kobe bryant
4) magic Johnson/larry bird
5) Steph curry( I would put steph above larry amd magic, but i was a kid whem these guys played so i gotta respect the legends
are you hoop report
He’s still in his prime
naw hes not and im a curry fan but hes still amazing even at 36yrs old
Prime Steph is 20 till 22 finals, skill, mind and experience at their peak, I don't care if he wasnt as quick anymore
Ngl bro sounds like hoop reports...
curry is the GOAT 🐐🐐🐐🔥🔥🔥
He's still in his prime btw
The 2016 season is just a championship away from being the perfect NBA season.
Hey hoop report how r u?
Still prime
Hoop reports?
Stopping the boys who say second
The Only Unanimous good.
LeBron explained it best. He said, "It's not when he has the ball, it's when he doesn't have the ball."
and simply put if this man didnt exist there would be no goat debate cus lebron would have minimum 7 rings
Curry is a Bad Man Let's go Warriors will Win the Championship next year 2025.
Hoop Reports making bank with all these accounts.
I 100% think about steph before LeBron on the Goat list
Buddy is glazing Steph 💀💀💀
He’s still in his prime he just has bad team mates
Is this not the voice of hoops report?
IKR
bro this is hoop reports bro
He was better in his prime in terms of quickness, explosiveness, and shooting, however he's stronger and wiser now.
the cavs won because lebronatic commissioner suspended draymond green. To this day even as laker lebron gets all the calls in his favor...thanks tontye commissioner.
Draymond got suspended for getting too many technicals BEFORE facing the cavs
did this man say he didnt have MJ's jumpshot??? wtf lmao
Talm bout mj jumpshot 😂
I've hit unc status man...
MJ's jumpshot??? Lol
MJ would love to have Curry's jumpshot 😂😂

Is this channel not run by the same person? His voice sounds really similar
yes he is it has been said several times this channel is a corp with hoops report and they use the same narrator
If Warriors won in 2016 Steph would be better than Lebron all time and arguably better than Jordan
He def surpassed MJ's jumpshot... 🙄🙄😑
Prime Steph don't play in the 4th quarter. Because after the 3rd quarter, the game is already over.
Isn't he still in his prime?

Kobe's all around game?? Or lebron? LOL

That's so wrong to say that in a pasr tense steph Curry is in his prime in fact he's is been getting better stronger ! are you nuts. jaja.. no ofense
I remember tuning and expecting he would do stupid shit like half courts, circus floaters/passes, splitting space, he was literal god
His offense is literally his defense of course he was peak
F u mean Curry is doesnt have lebrons athleticism, Curry runs around the court when they got possession to get free and make the shot , meanwhile lebron stands in a corner till her gets the ball
Be quiet, u got no likes in 2 weeks cause u just yapping 😂 your a professional yapper
Imagine having physicality of this season in 2014-2018
Steph has had a larger impact on the game than Lebron. He’s stayed out of negative PR his whole career unlike Lebron. He’s beaten Lebron in the finals multiple times… back to back even. He’s simply better than Lebron. Lebron was explosive and fun to watch in his prime. All he does now is cry and blame everyone else but himself. Even when talking about his son transferring he said “USC isn’t the winning culture we thought it was” like excuse me? Maybe Bronny should be a leader and bring that culture to the team? Or is he just gonna follow his dad’s footsteps and go wherever an absolutely stacked team is at and win because the team carries him….? Oops… I said it.
What a horrendous take😂😂😂
@@jasonmoukala8909 what a horrendous opinion by you.
Idk bro LeBron!!!!
@@Thatwarriorsguy3 I knowww I think it’s close. And that in itself is a crazy feat for Curry with his size and game style. He’s also destroyed Lebron multiple times… actually quite a bit.

FIX THE FU$#IN TITLE
Take away Curry's three point shot and hes nothing.
A main part of Steph's plays relies heavily on his teammates screening for him
Screening actions are probably the most used ones in basketball.
Well obvs he’s gotta do that when everyone is trying to stop him
I suggest you stop making comments that only reveals your poor understanding of the game.
if stephen fucking curry is not in your top 10 list, seek help
2016 curry was special to bad he had the biggest choke job in the 2016 finals
prime? technically wasn't this year and like the last couple part of his prime? cause he just keeps up trending its just less insane shots, kinda of like how now Kyrie lets stuff come to him now Curry's version of "letting the game come" is a bit clincly insane due to his shot difficulty making but still (fr out here yapping get me my MVY award most valuable yapper)
They not the greatest scorer but the most talentd scorers i seen in my lifetime were knicks melo and timmy hands down not even close
This guy mentioned 6 assists.. injuries like kyrie and love werent injured.. and acting like like kd didnt exist 😂 gave a lifetime glaze
overrated. Never could carry team on him self like other greats.
