Patton didn't know what he was talking about, but the dog is giving two BIG and clear signs of discomfort in the still. Whale eyes and wrinkly forehead are distress signals, not signals of relief or comfort. The dog was giving at least the whale eyes before the "adjustment" as well, but the dog tries to get away from the chiropractor immediately after the adjustment, which is an indication they disliked what happened even more than what came before it.
If you really think your dog needs a chiropractor, at least find a chiropractor with behavioral certifications (eg AABP-CDBC) who won't traumatize your dog in a non-regulated medicinal practice.
I think there's also a tight commissure (cheeks) in the still, like the panting it's also a sign of stress for many dogs.
@@christinehottinger5791That same chiropractor on the video does some amazing adjustments though. And chiropractic adjustments can be uncomfortable to experience but the relief for humans and other animals is very real.
@@Happy_Biker how would you know the relief for a dog is real, when you can't ask them and ignore the signals they actually do give? How does chiropractry even develop adjustments for dogs while ignoring all feedback from the dogs?
I'm now a fan of After Midnight. These three guests absolutely crushed it.

Crews with that tiny dumb bell, Oswald with that wig….perfection. These three plus Tomlinson = comedy gold. But, oof… that dog chiropractor video. That dog looks so scared and stressed out, and when the neck went “crack,” I died a little inside.
I do have to say after my dog’s first trip to the chiropractor, he couldn’t wait to go back. He loved it!

Joe's dumbbell argument is spot-on. For non-gym rats, would you rather have one measuring cup with a lot of measuring markings, or a whole bunch of measuring cups like some kind of psychopath?

But what if you use your one measuring cup for a liquid or sticky ingredient and then immediately need it for sugar or flour? You have any idea how often that happens? A kitchen psychopath is one who keeps washing and drying out the same cup instead of investing in four nesting cups, which incidentally take up the same amount of space in a kitchen drawer.
As for dumbbells vs. machines, people can do whatever you want, I stopped going to the gym 20 years ago (as I'm sure you could tell from the first part of my comment 😂)
Yeah and let's ignore for a second that one dumbbell rack takes up considerably less space than all of the machines on the gym floor. Not to mention they make dumbbells that are nested and that makes them the most valuable piece of home gym equipment.
More different people can use dumbells at the same time. Than one or two machines. But personally I like the machines

Great game! Crews was ruthless in his cross-examination. I was shocked. It seemed out of character for him, and I was quite impressed. But, then he mispronounced banal like anal, and seemed fixated on what he perceived as the "masturbatory" nature of Patton's obsession, which makes me think his rehab might need another visit - BUT, I DIGRESS! The simple fact is, he looked absolutely mad in that judge's wig and it was exquisite, so I'm willing to over the mispronunciation if for no other reason other than it was an exceptional vocabulary choice that cut right to the heart of his argument. Well played.
And, Judge Joe (if I may) was quite thoughtful in his deliberation. Fair, considerate, and compassionate. If only our SCOTUS were of such noble and sound mind. Oswalt, on the other hand, is a f---ing monster, both as a litigator and as a judge. Calculated, deliberate, and unmoved by appeal to emotion, outside of his unbridled hatred for jocks.
