    Tilman has really hit home when saying... just go get it, while at the same time being willing to take risks and ready for anything. All based on how you really feel and being a good listener to be an unstoppable and trusted leader.
    It would be interesting to learn how he really goes about keeping fit both physically and mentally.I wouldn't be surprised if he regularly attends some kind of mind-body or bodywork sessions like yoga, pilates, bare or myofascial release practice to keep this fearless energy flow going smooth at all times.

    Great interview. Made Tilman really have to stop and think about his answers rather than give just canned responses. Some questions he seemed uncomfortable answering or maybe he was being less than 100% truthful. For example, the questions delving into his personal life. He looked down several times after giving his answers and he was more soft spoken, whereas he was far more enthusiastic, engaging, and was making eye contact with you when discussing his success in the business world. I don't know, his body language seemed to suggest that he was not being forthcoming at times.

    The monetary value of the book is probably less than anything he has done, but you need to look at the other side as well. He is becoming a huge mentor and celebrity to others who want to emulate him is multiple aspects. His popularity is sky rocketing due to the book. So you need to look at the Non-fungible angle of this book because there is always the non physical aspect which has a greater impact on the population.

    Most rich families lose their wealth after generation 3. The book "family Fortunes' by Bill Bonner helps get over that hurdle. I like the bit when Tilman talked about how his wife has always been there.

    • @cosmiccandy8704
      @cosmiccandy8704 Před 4 lety

      Yes, I've heard that too: that they say the first generation makes the wealth, the second generation spends it, the third generation loses it.
      Whilst this level of wealth does appear attractive, I don't think it's always a good think to have it handed down in it's entirety throughout all generations. I do however think portions could and should it should be used to support the inspirations of succeeding generations so that they keep bringing new ideas into the world.
      To have such wealth handed down to you can stifle the hunger to create new enterprise. I understand that to be Buffet's thinking, and hence a large reason why he's not leaving his kids large inheritances.
