Hello Wahab, if you devote the 35-40 hours per week that the course requires, I honestly believe the content is enough to help you secure a data role. And yes, you can find remote data science roles through LinkedIn.
I'm curious why you specifically mentioned research skills. To answer your question, I did have prior knowledge, and I currently work as a data analyst in a tech startup.

Thank you for replying back! I had no prior experience before I got the data analyst role. I was initially working on a project for a non-profit organization here in Nigeria and I struggled in obtaining data to do the project.
