@@anthonyporcelli5228 If the other guys start the match again like that in brawls (running to each other). Leave before the first 30 sec, let them fight bots and you will not get a penalty. It's always the no lifers with 500+ reps that play like that.

1:30 Okay hang on just a minute. I thought dodge attacks from all characters except for Warmonger and Jiang Jun were light parries now. How come Shaolin's neutral dodge heavy is a light parry, but the one from his Ki Stance isn't?

I mean I won’t lie-maybe it’s just because I’m coming back to the game after a few years away, but I do hate fighting Shaolin so much. 😂 My most hated opponents has to be Shaolin, Medjay, Valkyrie (just the knockdown-spamming variety), and Highlanders (the light-spamming variety). For the most part I’m really down for learning to fight everyone, I just get tired of spammers cheesing their way to victory with one moveset. (I’m aware there are counters, I’m still working on getting there is all.) I actively avoid playing heroes with cheese tactics-I was good at Valkyrie without really being good at the game because I could spam so easily.
The best way to beat the characters you struggle with is to learn em! If you wanna practice I need lab partners lol. Highlander, Zhanhu, Nobu are my 3. Looking to pick up Shaolin.

Because you can feint it.
From my experience that move doesn’t really dodge anything ever so that may be why
because its not a dodge attack. it moves his character model slightly to the side but it has no i-frames and doesn't break tracking on any attacks
