It’s my wife hometown and my retirement paradise. Where your nice offer to pay for coffee, my wife and I have had our wedding ceremony and celebration, just bring back so many happy memories.
We just visited in October, and already planning for next visit, working on our land (it’s in my name too, usufruct), and simply enjoying the warmth of this welcoming city. Only the walking street gets busy during festivals, holidays or high season, otherwise the city is quiet and never boring, lots of things to do around.

Loy Kratong festivals in these Isaan towns and province capitals have such a local, genuine “vibe” to them. Vendors selling handmade Loy Kratongs in various sizes and colors, an assortment of local food and desserts, games of “skill” to win a stuff animal , bouncy castle for kids, beauty contests, traditional dance shows, fire works...
Most of all, it’s impressive to see the families attend this festival together, placing their Loy Kratong into the water.
My wife and I were just there a month ago and loved it. Thanks for sharing.

We love Chiang Khan. Were there a few months ago with no crowds....a lovely relaxing place. We didn't eat at the Luang Prabang restaurant but it looked very nice.

Love drive from nongkhai to chaingkhan up river,we do about every couple months,one our Sunday drives.6 hours return from our home drive.

The background music is overwhelming your voice. Keep in mind, most of your audience is old and deaf. For me personally, 50 percent lower would be perfect. But love your video subject matter.
