    God, what a cool layout! I'm into N scale but very curious about Z scale; I think I have now more than enough N material, so my plan is to begin stocking Z material through the following years and make, slowly but steady, a Z layout, I'm just fascinated by size and detail level!

      It is Z Scale, the poster is a Z Scale seller and you need to do your research. Plus try learning English to go with your Mandarin, you'll need it soon. Ok, bye, bye, now.

    I think the Z scale is the best choice for those Noch base plates because N and H0 scaled tracks become too short. However, in this layout there are some turnouts missing. But perhaps you just wanted to demonstrate the crossover.
    I found at least the Rokuhan Z scale tracks very expensive, I would estimate it as the most expensive track system I have ever seen. I am in Germany.

    • @zscalehobo
      @zscalehobo  Před 11 měsíci

      There are no turnouts missing. All are present. The crossover acts as 4 turnouts in one article number - Rokuhan R078.

      @@zscalehobo OK, but I think a real layout needs some tracks to do a bit shunting. Your layout does not provide a real railway station with at least one platform for passengers and installments to trade and store goods.
      Perhaps I missed out something but how is the inner track connected?

    • @zscalehobo

      Yes you should use 2 controllers. There is are two circuits - an "inner loop" and an "outer loop" - so 2 controllers are highly suggested.

      This is not a briefcase layout. It is Noch's Cortina #85880 found at z.scale.hobo: zscalehobo.com/website/noch/85880.html

    I speak no english : ohne korkbettung , ist dann nicht so laut oder mit Korkbettung besser??

    • @zscalehobo
      @zscalehobo  Před 3 lety

      Yes cork bedding will deaden noise. But the Cortina is wood framed plastic - it will be loud especially with older Märklin loks like mine. Newer loks are quieter.

      Hallo Wolfgang, für jeden Stromkreis, also jeden Kreis, benötigst du einen Fahrregler. Außer du steuerst digital, dann kannst du alles mit einem Fahrregler steuern.
      Ja, Kork verringert die Geräusche ein wenig. Allerdings wenn du den Kork verklebst, bzw. die Gleise einschotterst, ist es mit der Geräuschdämmung auch schon wieder fast vorbei.
      Gruß Rolf
