Ride filmed August 2023.
You know you're on a top quality ride when the narrator literally has to describe everything thats going on, otherwise you wouldnt have a clue
And they got somebody's nephew to do it.
I'm still trying to figure out why there's a caged gorilla in a subway... And I love the tremor part, the narrator saying to "stay calm" and the guy on the bench is sleeping like a lazy Sunday afternoon.
This ride is a "so bad that it's good" experience.
I sometimes imagine some distant future where alien archeologists are sifting through the ruins of our civilization and find these dark rides, trying desperately to figure out wtf we were smoking😅
I don't know anything about this park but I'd also like to imagine some designers/engineers -- who would love to be imagineers -- got the chance to build this little dark ride attraction with very few resources. I love theme parks and love the art of dark rides. There are big budget studio movies and there are small, independently-produced movies in the world. I like that there are people building original dark rides outside of the realms of Disney and Universal.
I hope the designers weren't smoking anything, because they were clearly no more than three years old.
@@unrellated imangine rideing this during a real earthquake . how munch more shakeyit will bee?
This isn’t part of a theme park. It’s a standalone attraction in a tourist town.
Was just on this last night. Every time I go to gatlinburg I get on. I love it so much. It’s a really bad b movie come to life. So many questions are raised with not an answer in sight. Not a care given about that. And it’s all the better for it
Really captures the full experience! I wish my ride throughs looked as good as yours!
Yeahhhh, Carpetbagger!! Love you man!!
Agreed 👍 jacob.
I had to close my eyes the whole entire time and it worked.
Yooooooo! TheCarpetbagger! I love your videos dude, been watching for a long time now! Glad to see you here! 🤘😎
Love your videos, Jacob! You’re awesome!
They have improved the ride a LOT I can’t wait to ride it again.
One of the wildest most insane stand alone attractions ever. Not one thing makes sense or has any logic to it. Definitely in the realm of so bad it's kinda good.
The dude on the bench must be a sound sleeper. 🤣
I like the part when the ride went *"PSSSSSSSSSSSS PSSSSSSS PSSS PSS PSS PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS **_PSSSSSSPSSSSSSSSSS PSSS PSSSSSSSSSSPSSPSPSSS_** "* so immersive
That's some high quality entertainment right there. XD
I remember doing this years ago lol, my dad was so annoyed that he paid money for it.
You know those weird dreams that you have when you're sick and have fever? This is what this attraction feels like
I know😖😖
As a local I have no clue how this thing is still open but I think I’m glad it is. It’s too insane to exist but yet it exists anyway
As hilariously wonderful as the ride itself is, that queue to get on was legit intimidating. There's no one around, the track outside looks like something is about to pop out at you but never does, a little blue arrow directs you into a fake line where fake people are happily walking into a wall, you get on the ride without any staff present, then finally step into a dark tunnel where instead of music a loud mechanical hum greets your ears, into rows of empty seats that await no one but you as you silently contemplate the horrors that are about to unfold. I don't know anything about this park, but I love how wacky this little ride is!
I'm a regular viewer of the channel but just realized that you posted this one day before I visited the ride myself! Nice to have a document of exactly how it was when I visited. Thanks!
Great ride, thanks for sharing.. you guys rock
Honestly love this ride brings back good memories
Did anyone else caught a good beat when the gorilla and the container where matching up to each other sound effects it got some funk to it lol
The gorilla is a very…interesting choice for this type of ride. Is there some sort of story behind it?
Omg so terrible I feel bad for the ride lol love how the potted plant was still firmly in place when the ground was raised!
Best ride ever
In Japan, where there are many earthquakes, it may not be accepted much.😂
Thank you for the always fun video!!
They have a bigger and more professional version of this in Universal Studios in California, rel earthquakes are also common there.
This makes me miss the one in universal Orlando!!
Haha.. yep. But that version was 100x better.
So an earthquake makes the individual seats move seperate from each other? 🤔
The real costs start at the chiropractors office.
Love it! So much happening!
Why is there a gorilla in a subway though
Exactly 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's King Kong of course!
You've obviously never ridden the New York City subway.
This is the best most terrible looking ride lol love it
There is an angry gorilla on the subway ride.
This might be the single most confusing ride I've ever seen. Like what is actually going on here? There's no clear theming at all.
That gorilla looks pissed
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So bad that’s good!!!!!!
so cool!
3:27 "I Milly Rock on any block"
Nice thats looks like one of those Amtrack passenger's cars.
I swear I don't remember the seats looking like this but then again the last time I rode this I was a little kid and I distinctively recall almost falling out of the ride in the alligator/monster/whatever it is down there scene
I'll give them an "A" for creativity, but this ride seems more silly than scary. I think I'd enjoy it, but just for the ridiculousness of it. If I hadn't seen this video I might have been disappointed. It goes basically nowhere!
Really? If u give them an A for creativity you must have failed all classes related to creativity. It’s a horrible ride.
@@adamsmith2331 Perhaps I should have said "I've never seen anything like it." It wasn't meant to be a compliment; read the rest of my review.
this is your flashback your old teneeses video
So dang cheesy, it’s awesome.😄
Oh man. This is bad.
Yikes!😱😬
I don’t know about this one, as someone with ADHD this ride would probably give me nightmares!😣😣😖😖
Why is there a cubby storage shelf in the corner? The ride is so exciting they use it as a storage closet as well?
This is like a bad joke…” a gorilla, train and a earthquake walk into a bar where they are greeted by an alligator”.
Looks like a ride at pigeon forge TN…
Random: The Ride 😂
Isn’t there an Earthquake Ride in Branson, MO…😕??????
Pass.
it was little shakey for me
I can appreciate that this was done likely on a very small budget compared to Disney or Universal. Additionally I am sure this was for those people a huge investment and they did their best with what they had In terms of space, resources and time. With that said narration takes away from the presentation, several logic holes 🕳️ exist that might draw more laughter than exclamations of thrills or even excitement.
Watching it there are several easy fixes that could be done to the existing layout, removing distractions and if repositioning is done well might add to the narrative. Hopefully the owners are open to continuing improvement. 😅
WHY IS THERE A GORILLA IN THE SUBWAY???
Y’all need to go to Dollywood
Hmmm 7/10
This dark ride looks interesting
Nice
I went on earthquake the ride and it was the best ride I have ever ridden in my whole entire life at gatlynburg Tennesee. Is there strobe lights on this ride?
This is not the original ride with Charlton heston
Who do you think was playing the gorilla?
I can appreciate the idea behind thr ride. Being from California this has to be the worst execution of an earthquake simulation ever. A strong wind sitting in your car is more realistic.
すげーアトラクションだなww
lamme hehe
hahahahha so cute......
The whole park is not the same, like back to the future, terminator, king kong
How does a gorilla fit in the narrative? It's as if they went to a sale of dilapidated animatronics left over from a defunct jungle cruise ride.
Just wished that earthquake the ride would take out strobe lights.
Well worth $11
You know what would make this ride better? Unplug the lame voiceover. And what did the about-to-happen train collision that had the voiceover screaming at the beginning, have to do with an earthquake? And the pointless gorilla broke the enclosure, not the earthquake. Do people actually pay to ride this? Thank you for riding so I don’t have to.
Well, they've tried. It's probably a fun ride for kids tho
This looks like a very cheap knockoff of the ride at universal
did the gorilla make you pee pee poo poo
This is it? Seems lame to me.
Worst Ride Ever
