Having seen one on a guys rig that he was spun by canopy and couldn't get flat as he was getting spun ,he cut away and cause he was spinning it just spun up lines on his reserve badly ,if he recovered deploy position after a cutaway his reserve would of deployed normally, lucky enough he manage to kick away the tangle out . Once you see that video how bad a shape his reserve was in then you think it was supposed to be a safety feature that nearly ended his life
