@@chilepelon101 I didn't type any of those ''athlete'' comments, atleast from what I remember, but I did see Reyes fight Oezdemir and he lost that fight quite clearly but they gifted him a win bec he was an undefeated prospect yadda yadda.. Then he goes on to KO a Weidman in the first round which isn't bad but Weidmans chin got cracked severely against Romero and Souza. The victory over Weidman gave him his title shot. All in all, no one could have expected this kind of a performance against Jones based on Reyes' past fights, if anything, Jones' past fights and his decline in domination were more of a tell of what's to come.

Seriously. Too many fighters fight Jon's fight. They try to get on his fight IQ level. I really want to see a killer just go all out in round one and not worry about gassing out. Just do as much damage in round one as you can. Risk it all in round 1 cause Jon shines in the last rounds. Stop trying to outsmart Jon and just go dumb brute savage on him in round 1 with all you got and it fails oh well. Nothin else is working anyways. Allan caples i don't understand how you can say that? When you got 2 men fighting it out with cameras all-around knowing very well it will be replayed again in the media. You can easily analyse this fight and see clearly who won, there's no way any money paid for the refs to score you to win would get away with such a biased way of scoring! With that being said we need that rematch it will settle it and tbh Jones has come back like this before and won which would may pay per view, Jon Jones gets the bragging rights, the Proof he's the best, another fight to put on his record, plus Reyes gets another shot which if he does will also make history but will have to see. Reyes did more damage on Jones then Thiago and it was a draw with a Thiago. Somethings not right. Reyes out struck Jones 116 to 104, the knockdown and the uppercut was the highlight.

First of all, Jon was the aggressor majority of the fight.
Secondly, Jones’ défense was paramount in reducing the impact of Reyes shots. Even though in real time it looked like Reyes was landing, Jones was blocking and dodging a lot of his strikes in the first 3 rounds but especially the 3rd round.

we see fights 3-2, in that order. The championship rounds have more weight age, who was more dominant when the fight was towards its end. judges judged this fight a little differently than they would a normal fight I feel, they judged on a multitude of things other than striking
95% of people are casual fans. Newbies . These bouts are judged on Effective Striking, Aggression, and Octagon Control. Reyes won 3 rounds in Effective Striking. The points cards they showed before the decision will show that. But jones won 25 minutes of Aggression and Octagon Control. Reyes was going backwards all 25 minutes and gassed the last 10. This is what the judges saw. Jones was the better fighter.
Even though Jones may have ”lost” this fight, the two rematches he did have he completely dominated! Looking forward to it!

I know Jon has had some tumultuous times, but I hope he is able to keep it together because he's done so much for the sport and has so much more to give, but not that much time to stay at the top because time gets to everyone. Jones hasn't done nearly as much for the Sport as you're making it seem, he's no Conor McGregor, he's not bringing in new fans, and making the company more money, when he was young, he was popular, but a majority of people don't care to see him fight unless he's fighting DC.
He's not a draw, he's just a dominant Champion. MM was also a Dominant Champion, but didn't do anything for the sport or the UFC besides setting a record.
Ita amazing how long this guy has been dominate in the ufc. 10 plus years. There are very few fighters in any combat sport that have dominant as ling as Jones has. Definitely the GOAT!!

The judge who scored the fight 49-46 for Jones is an uneducated person and needs to be stopped from judging till he learns how to do the job with integrity.
Reyes showed last night that he is the truth and i hope he continues to prosper in the future.
I think we're looking at 90-95% of Jones's peak performance and similar for Dominick Reyes. The question moving forward would be, is it possible for Jones to get closer to 95-100% considering he is getting older and can Reyes achieve the same. Easier said than done.
