Unpopular opinion to me ww2 after the overhaul is the most underrated call of duty ever and it’s still fun to this day. The headquarters just messing around the grittiness was amazing

Bo1 feels like such a “lightning in a bottle” game. The atmosphere, color palette, music, even the cod point system and contracts in MP…
It felt so satisfying to browse the catalogs of camos, reticles, face paints, etc and trying to decide what to spend my cod points on that could only be EARNED by playing the game
I miss black ops 1 so much. The overall vibe was perfect. I still have the poster I got at the midnight launch at GameStop

Not only all this but THE MAPS WERE THE BEST EVER. THE DLC MAPS INCLUDED PERFECTION. Best campaign in the franchise easily and zombies took the big step and was easily the biggest in bo1
Cold War would have been A+ if it had a normal development cycle. The game didn’t even have a year of development, and most things had be recorded at home. So unfortunate that my favorite CoD had to be done so dirty.
Despite all that though it turned out to be an awesome cod and probably the best in recent years for sure

It's still one of my favourite cods. Thankfully this year's game is a sequel. Fairly sure its had like 3 years of development so it should be amazing.

With all due respect I have to add "CoD 2 Big Red One" to S tier on my behalf because it was the first CoD I ever played and the Campaign will always have a place in my heart. The story is so heartbreaking and watching all of your friends die off one by one taught me as a child to cherish your loved ones because they can be gone in a blink of an eye
You should definitely play CODM just know that it will take a lot of grinding to get to a point where you can have a lot of fun and it also doesn’t have any of that gritty, real war like action like the old days and a downside it that it doesn’t have a campaign but sometimes they add a game mode thats like a campaign but only for events like this years 4th anniversary. So I think you should at least try it.

Congrats on 200K! This list is definitely accurate. I’m replaying the CoD campaigns than ranking them because I haven’t played them in SO long. (Thanks for the idea!) but I’ve lost so many of the copy’s that it’s gonna cost me more to get all the cod games I lost than all the money I spent on MWIII and the bundles combined lol. Gonna try and beat WaW before you do but you’re playing it this week on one day and I’m gonna play BO2 before WaW because I started BO1 before WaW by accident.

Just watched the video and I really enjoyed it the tier list was great and you’re one of my favourite cod creators keep up the good work
CoD4 is the GOAT, i ll keep saying that, it was revolutionary,created the Promod era, eSports era,it was bigger than CS at the time in the pro scene.The xfire era ..the good old days, the glitches, the jumps,the bounces,the out of the maps almost on every map,the quickscoping , the simple 3 killstreals uav airstrike helicopter,simple and fun. It had the noobtube the martyrdom the 3x frag the last stand all these for the newbies but everyone was fine with it,game was always so much fun..The dedicated servers, you knew you join your server and you were like a family there everyone knew each other ..the clan wars, the admins,the teamspeaks, the youtube montages, the custom mods,CoD Jumper community, the punkbuster , the gametracker website, every gun was unique and had its own role in the gameplay. Some random memories from the game , nothing ever came close to CoD4, thr game was all about the players having fun. The 2 maps they gave free, Winter Crash and Killhouse, everything became iconic, we were so lucky the ones that lived that era.

@@tdawgsmittyMw2 definitely did deserve to be in S tier. I’m honestly surprised you put mw3 (the 2011 game) in B tier. In my opinion If ima be honest, I think it could’ve gone in S tier for me. But hey it’s your opinion and it was your tier list and your video so I don’t hate on what you decided was better.
The moment the bo2 music started playing the memories start flowing in. 😂 what a beatific masterpiece bo2 really was at its golden age.
Blops 2 is totally S tier, I still play this currently. Although, I have to use Plutonium it is still great to this day. A remaster of this would be great, but I feel it would just get totally messed up by incompetence.

I don’t understand why people hate Cold War too much, it was a very good game and what they did it 10 months is kinda impressive. TTK was great and very good gameplay. My guess is people didn’t like Cold War too much is because that the engine was too “old” for its time, and it doesn’t really surprise me because this cod was made on the bo4 engine.

Pretty great list overall. But based on UI alone I cannot possibly imagine placing MWIII on the same level as MW(2019). 2019 had better movement in my opinion--a lot more fluid and faster than MWII but not quite as breakneck-fast as MWIII. I think they overshot the mark a little bit and made MWIII too fast. MW(2019) is the absolute goldilocks zone for movement, I think. MW(2019) had a cooler, more gritty tone, better soundtrack, INFINITELY better UI and menus, and fewer ridiculous Fortnite-ish cosmetics. I personally really liked the maps, the weapons were incredible, and weapon handling felt great. And it was not a cash grab like MWIII. No way MWIII belongs in the same zip code as 2019.
Movement In general felt so much better In all the olschool COD games imo , from COD4 - MW3/B02. After that It seems like alot of the more modern COD games got too fast and twitchy , yet It still felt like you were traveling less distance despite quicker looking animations , and also modern CODs seem like you started dying too fast from bullets. COD just became twitch fests , older games online felt more relaxed and you could battle longer between deaths and absorb more bullets , nowdays evryone plays COD like they're hyper on crack and It's not even fun to watch.
mw 2019 did feel different from all the other cods the movement is the most realistic and slowest almost felt like a battlefield game but i dont know if thats a bad or good thing but for me i kinda prefered the more arcadey feel for mutliplayer in mw2 and mw3 as i think cod is better as a fast paced game rather than a bf clone

I think WW2 and Ghost are severely underrated in their own ways. Ghost had probably one of the most innovative and fun campaigns at the time and still holds up today ( not including mw3 reboot cuz that one is not a real campaign). The mp was average to below-average. I didn’t really think bad of it , but when i played bo and bo2 it really didn’t hold up. WW2 had an amazing mp experience. The headquarter was amazing. The zombies was very good. ( DLC’s were fine , but nothing special). The campaign was a good WW2 story but i would rather play battlefield V.
I might have some biased because Ghost was my first COD game( dont make fun of me for this) and I bought WW2 with my own money from my first real job and still have both of those to this day.
I agree with you on iW it story was amazing and I even got a little teary eyed when Ethan and Reyes were floating and he was losing oxygen.
Codm would defo be an A tier, It has like almost every map from all the cods, a massive variety of guns from all cods, and a bunch of loved gamemodes. The downsides are that it is on mobile, it has one zombie map, and its the map no-one wants, as well as no campaign.
Fun fact Smitty mate og mw2 score was made by Lorne Balfe give him some credit and I reckon that Hans made few songs and title themes for the game and Mw2 2009 soundtrack is best out of any cod game in my opinion.

Regarding wz, i think broken metas can be good for the game at times.
Also i love IW, one of the games that really made me a cod enthusiast. The previous cods just didnt click for me, just like iw didnt click for you. It looked great, had improved movement flow from bo3, weapons and maps which felt like they actually belonged in the game. Overall nice tierlist though👍
warzone with a group of friends is an S tier game for me
Infinite warfare was underrated, i can see how it is similar to bo3 but we can all agree the campaign was goated with salt and ethan, im still trying to beat it on specialist.
Can't forget about ghosts too, loved the huge maps and campaign, along with the lower ttk so everything is powerful

@@tdawgsmitty Gotta agree with this guy, Black Ops 4 deserves a higher rating. I personally love BO4, multiplayer while not amazing is good & a lot of fun. Blackout is incredible, I still play it on the reg & I Zombies is heaps of fun too!

I love your list. Not much I’d change from yours myself. I do have to say though, Infinite Warfare is one of my guilty pleasures. Even surrounding all the hate that year for that game, I still found myself playing it quite a bit. I loved the campaign, the multiplayer was good but it could get overwhelming with the advanced movements but still was an enjoyable experience. I think what standed out for me the most was the zombies and I really liked how they incorporated different themes and eras with each new map. Undeniably, IW is in my top 3. Such great times with that game.

I really like cod mobile for a couple of reasons:
1- its free, the fact that you get to experience this quality for free is cool
2- insane camos, in this game there are legit camos that dont even resemble the camo weapon, and the animations on then are also pretty neat
3- it has all of the og cod maps
Ranking COD2 C tier is diabolical, the campaign alone makes it deserving of an A tier

I know the first impression was bad, but warzone 2 with the increased movement speed and vondel (honestly a really good map) made it pretty fun in seasons 4-6.

Mw3 on b tier is insane . It literally launched with the most maps ever , it had community playslist. Top 3 in my book
The Advanced Warfare is really bugging me. It have great improvements that we can't ignore. The VFX and SFX was significantly improved so it looks and sounds very amazing.
But the thing is, the second half of the campaign story just feels weird. They suddenly changed the topic from "Atlas is saving everyone by providing the resources they need, instead of conquering the nation" to "Atlas is very bad because they want to rule the world", and there's no reasonable explanation between this change (and "your wars don't work" part is not the reasonable explanation).
There're even rumors that FBI was gotten in the game (Disclaimer: rumors. Almost no articles and reports to prove this). The original ending was supposed to be Atlas keeps saving everyone and we're following its lead instead of the sudden death of Jonathan Irons. Also, that scene about Jonathan Irons talks about democracy in the review trailer was never in the game. So that made me wondering, AW was really changed by some people and we will never know the truth.

I completely agree on ghosts, the map was too big and they started to copy other games/people. I remember finishing it only be ended in a cliffhanger.

Now this list is fire , every game u put in s tier belongs 💯 and ghosts belongs in c tier because the campaign was fun and the lil extra modes u could do in multiplayer were pretty lit . WaW belongs in s tier too , idec I'd let nostalgia talk on that game . I'd say bo1 zombies was the best in my opinion though .

Pretty accurate I thought. I would have bumped COD 1 and 2 up to the B or A tier, and dropped AW and the new MW3 down a tier though. I’ve played every single COD ever made, including the bonus ones like United Offensive, Big Red One, Finest Hour, and roads to victory, so I feel I would have an accurate say myself.
I stopped playing ww2 like 2 years ago. Played again last, still very fun

cod cold war honestly super underated for the state it was in , if they just had 1 or 2 extra year it could have been in s tier. still a super fun game to play and super enjoyable
