I think it’s a wonderful gift for anyone. It would be nice for a non-crafter too. Maybe add some pre threaded needles with white, blue, grey, and maybe red. On the other felt sheet you can loosely stitch some buttons. Now it’s a button repair kit.

Hi there, Mom & Pop, love the video. I think the projects are great, but may I add one little suggestion? You could complete the set with a thread catcher that could be attached to the pin cushion by a fabric strip about three or four inches long and the same wide folded in half so that it ends up between 1 1/2 and 2 inches wide. One narrow end would be sewn into the opposite side of the pin cushion to the side you used for filling and the other end would have a button hole or a snap with the other part of the snap or button on the top seam side of the thread catcher. The catcher would be a tube with one end closed. Using the weight of the pin cushion as ballast you could hang your thread catcher which could also hold your scissors and your point turner from the edge of your sewing machine table or your favourite chair or whatever when you’re doing your handwork and nothing would fall between the cushions. Sorry for being so long winded, but, it was just a thought. They are easy, great scrap busters and/or you could make a set out of leftover charms if you had enough.

Great ideas for Xmas stocking stuffer. I’m absolutely making the needle booklet.
You could add a small pocket on the inside front or back of the needle holder and slip in a needle threader. Great stocking stuffer project.
