Beautiful Prague. Been there twice, amazing city. Wish such beautifully looking movies were done more in Poland! Greetings from Warsaw for Czech brothers.
I have been waiting about thirty years for this movie. I remember the first one "Operation Daybreak" I am so glad Sean Ellis decided to make this movie. The assassination of Heydrich was one of the bravest act committed by these wee Czech guys who were the bravest of them all. Can you imagine that, they killed Hitlers second in command. Heroes they were and I cant wait to see the movie.
Operartion Daybreak is very much of its day but has some real strengths, not least the sense of place brought to it by director Lewis Gilbert (3 Bonds, Alfie, etc), still going today at 96 (and whom I met once). This seems to fail in that respect, even from the trailer, with lots of obvious CGI. But might be worth seeing.
accents do not make sense here : all characters are Czechs who speak Czech to other Czechs. They definitely did not have funny accents in Czech. So why they need to have accents in a movie entirely in English?:) (I would understand non-english accents if some of the characters were native english speakers and some non-native english speakers)

Well at least they are trying. Its not exactly widespread accent to mimic, right?
