I have been a long time viewer and watch and your content. I am in my 40s and enjoy the day to day content of your daily vlogs. I actually enjoy your getting ready vlogs, gardening just your daily in general. I don't miss watching your kids as my kids are grown as well. Maybe do a poll. I would love more content of just you and Ken cooking, organizing, working out, cleaning...love your product reviews. I know you started this journey as your family nest...maybe change your content to "Empty Nesters," 😊 Love you guys! ❤

Proud of you! I’ve looked up to you as a mom figure since I was in high school. I’m 27 now. I would hate to see you and the nest disappear, as there are so many exciting milestones coming. Weddings, babies, travels, graduations, careers, projects, etc. but we’ll see ya when we see ya. 🩷
I agree there are still so many things coming but I find it challenging as some of these things I feel like I can't share 100% or share in the way that I would want to. But I plan to just take it one day at time for now and see how it goes!

I’ve been watching you guys for 8-9 years now, before I was grown or knew anything about the real world. Im now 25 and married and have 3 children. I grew up with your kids and it’s so bittersweet but I love you guys and your videos so much! You all have helped me through some really good and really bad times in my life. Especially your anxiety journey I related to so well after having my first child. You all always kept it so real, and I’m so thankful for that! I have enjoyed this journey, and will miss yall! I think your feelings are very valid especially in your 50’s. I feel that we have been so busy raising kids that we lose ourselves sometimes. We find ourselves having more time to reevaluate our lives and what we want for the future! I love your videos but I completely get where you are at!❤

I truly love watching you no matter the content. I have watched since your kids and my kids were young. I have always felt we somewhat have things in common, having kids round the same age,and having a second chance at a(relationship/marriage). You are very luck to have the kind of relationship that you have where the two of you have so much in common and enjoy actually doing things together now that your kids are grown. It can be very lonely when its not like that. (I too am a pretty emotional person) Lol.That's how the golden years, as they call it,should be. Enjoy it!! Be in the moment. I've been viewing on and off for quite a while, you have become my comfort channel over the years, my family wasn't super nice to me growing up, and watching you kind of has felt like the true idea of "family" for me in a realistic way. you aren't overly peppy and happy and faking enjoyment, its your day to day, the errands you ran, the things you had going on, the love for your children you showed. The slight bickering you guys do and the way its not the end of the world. Although it may seems normal for some, y'all were my first view seeing that. I initially watched for karli, Chase, and Blake, but as you've transitioned into the channel being more predominantly you based, i realized the one i really watched for was you. Your new books youre reading and the struggles you have with anxiety, the way you share your fears and emotions, what new project or hobby you're into, the way you treat your children. It's like I viewed you as my mother.
Life is forever changing, and I will continue to watch whenever you post, when the day it possibly comes to an end, i will be grateful for the joy you've brought me all these years. Although I'm not family I will always be in your nest.

Now I just do taking videos & about how i live in nature 24/7 after my mom passed away in 2022 Feb
Just film what is going to make you happy why don't u try get into like making jewelry or something like that & film that making jewelry is fun it's relaxing & can be rewarding if you sell it lol
I use to make jewelry & I'm a guy make jewelry talk about stories & things like that something that makes u happy

Just do a monthly talk catch up with some clips of any of that posted inbetween the chat. Glad you are not going the way of some big youtubers - where that now they have paid for all they want - they now post only when sponsored or brand deals to share - showing they were only in it for the money from the start.
Thank you… ironic I got an email from an amazing brand yesterday of all days. I just can’t right now. Doesn’t feel authentic to me. I haven’t done one in a while as none of them felt like a fit for me personally. It was different when the kids were involved. It’s also crazy to me when brands want me to share things that are for kids, like do you watch my channel first? Haha!!
@@OurFamilyNest Yes, so annoying when I saw an old lady (who has mobility problems) getting a free electric bike and getting money to promote it (sent to her just because she has a big 'audience') - she said she did ride it but lost the footage! yeah right - then why not film it again. (There is no way she could even have got ON the bike!) And like many other promos - never seen it again.

Blogs are really no better than Wikipedia, which particularly is a very unreliable source. Blogs are a typed form of vlogs but are more focused on 'opinion.' It also depends very much on the specific content of each given blog post.
Far too many people fail to realize this fact, but... CZcams isn't a career, unless you WORK - AT - CZcams, which would mean your employer would be Google. Vloggers and anyone else that gets paid uploading their videos, especially on CZcams, are self-employed.
It may not be as much, "OUR Family Nest," anymore - but that doesn't mean you can't change the name of your channel too along with all the other changes. Maybe, "Our Empty Nest," although you still have Chase and Karli - but we haven't really seen Chase since, well, the Asha days. Content definitely matters and knowing you get paid for views (view time) needs to be considered. A more open mind realizes more content opportunities than a less open mind - and I'm not saying you don't have an open mind. Better content gets more views and more views means mo' money!
I respect your decision completely ❤ Of course, I miss seeing Chase, Karli, and the others every day, but i respect their wishes to keep their lives private. However, I hope they understand that they were a big part of my life for a long time and i will always be thinking of them ❤

It's the sensitivity gene...in some it's more powerful than others. I don't think people or society in general should ever make people feel ashamed for how they react to things in life.
Also- I have switched my content to things that I personally enjoy for quite awhile now.
And lastly, you can't have totally privacy and be on social media. Some of my kids don't want their lives on social media at all. They will never want their homes, weddings, children, etc shared on social media. All the things that Ken and I have coming in this next chapter of our lives with never be able to be shared on CZcams due to our kids wishes. That simple.

Kids grew up, moved out, they have their own life’s and wanna be private. Kandi is over emotional and cannot accept their CZcams ‘career’ came to an end. Sell the house (your “investment”) downsize and look for retirement homes. 🤷🏻♀️

You’ve been a comfort channel for 10+ years now. Your channel is a safe space. I’ve felt the nurturing mom, friend, wife, heartfelt moments with you through the camera/screen. You’re a strong mom, wife, friend, individual. You and your family have grown so much through the last 14 years, what a blessing! I hope to continue to be “apart” of the family nest, but so understand and respect the decision to pick and choose what YOU want to film, not what you think WE want to see. Use this season as a time to invest in you and your marriage, your family. Life is so short. Embrace this season to do what is best for you and ultimately test what you like/don’t like. It’s just like the boutique you started and the reading channel. You tried something and you found what you liked/didn’t like. And it all worked out in the end. This will too. We are here ❤ Go chase those golf dreams and don’t forget about us. 🫶🏻
I completely understand how you feel. It’s crazy cuz I feel sad today too like oh no… what did I do!! But I know it’s not OVER, it’s just different now. Change can be scary but I feel like I needed to make this little tweak so I could quit hanging on to this idea that I’m still a vlogger when really I’m not. I need to figure out what I am now. It’s scareyyyy. I think I’ve held on to all of you in the same why you’ve counted on me. I have to let go a little to find my way to what’s next. Ahhhh, yep this is emotional for sure.
