- Sparked by Tracie Fox Creative and Mandy at Sunflowers and Dors ; I’ve decided to challenge paper crafters and junk journalers to share a mass make they do in March. Any items, any products, just share your mass make and use the hashtag #JJMassMakeMarch. My paper clip mass make is at the beginning of the video, and right at 30 minutes I show the four items I created with one sheet of 12” x 12” paper cut into four strips measuring “3 x 12”. It’s a long video with lots of things mentioned.

As always, your kindness and support is much appreciated. Thank you for watching and happy creating.
Oh ! I just watched Spark Bird Studios video the other day! So cool to see your take on this. I love how this community supports each other 😊
Didn’t she do a great job explaining the process? And I agree. We’re a huge, tiny group of crafters ❤
I dont know why you have been sick and/or injured yourself, but sending prayers for healing. These are clever ideas, Cori. Thank you for this video! Blessings
Thank you. That was last year and I had dropped a piano on my leg.
You are amazing! You always amaze me at how you come up with so many ways you can make things different, but similar! Healing thoughts coming your way!
I do love the challenge of taking a piece of paper (or several pieces) and seeing what they can become. Thank you 😊
Oh goodness! What inspiring ideas. Thank you so much for sharing!! So thankful you are feeling better. Keeping you in my prayers. In fall of 2019 I fell and broke my leg. I was three months non weight bearing with a full length brace. Took me 6 months before I could go back to work at school. Then C19 hit us 10 days later. I feel your pain and restlessness. Stay positive! Have a blessed day!
Oh man! Bless you Donita and I hope you’re completely healed now, with no residual side effects ❤
1 am in the morning. I cannot sleep. Came across this video. Now, it is 2:30am. I stayed up to make all 4 of these. Now, I can sleep. Ha! Thanks for sharing and keeping me up!😂❤
LOL Jo Ann. I can so relate. Happy to hear that I put you to sleep 😊
What a great idea of using eye shadow sponge to distress in tight spots. Why didn't I think about that? Duh, probably because I don't wear eye makeup. But after this, I sure am going to buy some. Thank you.
I asked myself the same thing when I first thought of using the eyeshadow applicator. "Why didn't I think of this sooner?" I don't wear eyeshadow either 😊 Happy to hear that it's a useful tip!
Love your channel I am learning so much. God bless.
Thank you and I’m happy to hear that you’re finding it helpful!
I love all your ideas and tips, especially using a piece of scrap paper with quilt clips to adhere the glue to prevent 'teeth marks'. I also want to start using the eye shadow applicator for small hard to reach corners. 😍
Thank you, Wendy. I'm glad some of the ideas shared will benefit you!
This is lots of fun…. I will see what I can do like this soon! I am still spinning around the craft room…. Thank you.
Thank you Cynthia. It's a lot to take in, which is the beauty of having the whole month to join the fun, as it suits you and your schedule 💕
This is a great challenge Cori. Just trying to decide what to make. Love your tips and ideas. TFS
Thank you Maggie and I’m looking forward to seeing what you decide to share. It is certain to be inspiring ❤
Thanks so much for the wonderful ideas. Hoping you feel better soon
Thank you ❤
So glad you are doing much better…great video 💞
Thank you Cynthia!
Time to dig out the paper clips … And make prototypes of your 3x12 designs! Thanks!
Have fun with them!
Challenge accepted Cori, what a great idea and your makes are gorgeous as always ☺️🤗💜
Woo hoo! I’m absolutely certain you’re going to do something that inspires and delights us all. Thank you Julie!
Wow! Awesome video of ideas, tips and techniques, Cori. Thank you! I had just watched Christina from Spark Bird Studios create the paper clips a couple of days ago. Another wonderful method. There are just so many very talented creative crafters/artists available to us. I am grateful that so many of you share part of your life with us. What a wonderful way to bring our world closer together! 🥰😀💞
Keryn, you always write the nicest comments that just nail what so many are thinking. Sharing concepts and ideas spurs creativity in so many. It’s a glorious thing ❤
Great ideas and rather quick.
Thank you for all the ideas.
You are so welcome!
I found out the hard way with those clips! Looked like jaws had bit my paper 😢😂❤
Glad to see you back at it, Cori! Yay!
Thank you and dang, I'm sorry about the naughty clips. Another viewer suggested using a nail file and filing down the pokey bits. Thought that was a great idea!
@@CoriDahmen brilliant!! Will give that a go
Looking through your videos, & I'm so grateful that my new friend Carrie gave me your YT channel. You make so many beautiful items. I have been collecting items for journals for a several years now. Last year I found Mixed Media together with Finnabair, making other kind of art. I still haven't made My first journal - Starting a Junk Journal group classes so I finally might get to dare to make on. Thank you for all your wonderful videos❤ - Subscriber Lia/Sweden
Hello Lia and welcome! I'm happy to hear that you're new to this wonderful hobby and to making journals. Honestly, the very best way to learn is to dive in and just have fun. I still learn something new each time I make a journal or projects to include in journals.
Excellent tutorial…so clear and concise
Thank you, Carolyn 😊
Love these!! So glad you are feeling better!
Thank you Risa!
Love it, I am making 10 Christmas books and will be using each one of these ideas. thank You

Your work is beautiful! And I get great tips (using an eyeshadow applicator on fussy cut pieces, for example) when I watch your videos.
Wonderful! I’m happy to hear you’re finding the videos helpful 😊
I love paper clips and ways to use 12x12 paper. It is great to see all the amazing ways to make paper clip embellishments. The side ways ones that sun for tabs is such a wonderful idea.
I’m glad you’re on the mend. 😊
Thank you and agree. Just cool to see so many options!
Hi I’m new. You do paper. Clips to the 10 power. Love it 😊. I’m gonna watch agin lol. Good ideas.
Hello Laura and welcome! Be warned; making those things is highly addictive!
I was confused at first but stuck with you, and I appreciate your talents. Thanks for sharing. I'll use these ideas for sure. I don't have a CZcams yet.
I'm sorry if I was confusing! I try to be clear, but that doesn't always work. Glad to hear you stuck with it and hope it was ultimately successful!
So many cool paperclips! I will have to give all of these a go sometime! Have been busy with my mass-making today ☺
Woo hoo? Yeah for mass makes that are fun and build up our stashes of ready-to-go items!
I have never mass make anything. I have made 2 journals in the last year. I have decided I need to do some mass making.
And then I find you. This is the first time I have watched you. I am going to schedule some mass making time and will post on IG.
Thanks for sharing!
Correction, this is the second video lol. I saw the tour of your craft space
Welcome Angie and just have fun with it! Honestly, once you start with that mindset, and you're making something you want to make, it's just a whole lot of fun. Happy creating to you!

I loved all the ideas in this one video! Thank you. I will be watching more of you!
Thank you and welcome! I’m happy to hear you found something that works for you ❤
Just did a fussy cutting marathon and using the eyeshadow applicator in those tight spots is genius! Thank you so much.
You’re very welcome and truly, it’s the table-top magnifier with the win! I couldn’t fussy cut without it 😊
What do you mean?
Hi Cori, Great news that you continue to get stronger. Just FYI, the specimen cards are done by Saturday Stamper on Etsy. Thank you for the sharing of your gifts.
Thank you Lisa and I appreciate the information about the card maker ❤

Hello Cori. So lovely to see you’ve been able to make again. Thanks for so many lovely ideas. Xx
Thank you Debbie. It’s very nice to “see” you ❤
So glad to see you today!!!!!! Thankful your injuries are coming along!!!! Sending prayers for continued healing ❤️
Thank you very much. Every day I remind myself; Progress, not perfection 😊
Good video. Nice tips. The clip marks on paper...geez why didn't I think of using paper under. Thanks!!!
\
You’re very welcome 😊
The divet on the paper is a great idea. I always wanted to "lose the paperclip" and this is perfect. Thanks Cori, for sharing your secrets.
You are so welcome Anita. I’m happy to hear the idea works for you ❤
thank you so much i didn't think to use another piece of paper over to stop the clips for making marks on my project thank you so much x
You are very welcome!
@@CoriDahmen ❤️
Thank you for showing us all these different elements. I have saved this video on my library.
Thank you Jan, and I hope you enjoying making one or more of them!

My pleasure Denise and thank you!
I just love all your videos, there are so much tips, and I've been viewing your videos for years for ideas.
Thank you Shirley!
I just found you…I love these so much. I don’t have the imagination to create ingenious little treasures, but I love making journals. Thank you for some great ideas ❤
Thank you and welcome! There are lots and lots of ideas shared here. I hope you can find some that will work well for you!
You are an incredible resource and I love watching you share ideas. Thanks for coming back to us fellow creators. You were very missed.

Merci 💕
Thank you cori for such a fun video. Great instructions for using one sheet of paper.🌴💕
You are so welcome Annette and thank you for the kind words ❤
Love your creations! Thanks for sharing. I have been mass making journal cards, tags, and diy seed packets so this will be a perfect way to share my mass makes! Love it!!
Those all sound fantastic! Thank you and I’m looking forward to seeing your makes ❤
Good afternoon Cori. It always amazes me how you can take one idea and alter it into multiple ways! Sadly I get stuck on one way but then I get to watch you here on utube! Thank you for sharing all your creativeness! AKA Arlene
Thank you Arlene and I’m all about sharing ideas. We learn best from each other!
Cori, I love this entire video! So happy you are healing and feeling better. The four different ideas are great!❤
Thank you Jan! I hope you have fun making something shared ❤
Thank you for all the ideas! I too had just watched Spark Bird Studios and I started making her paper clips today!
Wonderful! I think her clip formula is fantastic.
Wow! Great tips and ideas. This will be a fun month I’m sure.
I hope so Linda. Thank you ❤
I will certainly be taking part in this. Fab ideas as well. Thanks Cori and great to see you crafting again 💜
Yeah! The Fabulous Gez, on board. Looking forward to seeing what you make and share!
What a fantastic idea Cori! I will definitely be participating! I just love what you created with the 10 items that I sent you! Glad you are forwarding on the challenge to others! Hugs!🥰🥰🥰
Well, thank you for thinking of me and for the grace you showed considering how long it’s taken me to make and share them ❤
Thoroughly enjoyed this video Cori…love your inspirational ideas…thanks for sharing❤
I’m happy to hear it was helpful Bernie ❤
More great ideas, thank you Cori! I also saw SparkBird Studios’ cool technique of mass making hidden paperclips last weekend. Very clever! 😘
Thank you Linda and yep! Such a creative technique she shared ❤
So many ideas. I have loads of jotting in my notebook. Thanks as always for so much inspiration. So glad to see your thumb had healed enough for you to get back into making x
Thank you Elaine and it’s good to be back. Thank you for the kindness ❤
Loved this video! So many interesting little projects to work on. Thanks for sharing 💕🤗 Glad you're back!
Thanks so much Deborah ❤
❤just saw your video pop up - and have to smile. I spent the entire day making the paper clips Spark Bird did.
LOL! Aren't those brilliant? She did an amazing job, both creating them and sharing her how-to.
@@CoriDahmen And of course I’m using tiny Cori clusters on the backs because there’s more room there
Great video Cory. Nice to hear you and see you doing much better.
Thank you Liza and yes, I'm getting there!
These are all awesome, you always have so much inspiration to share..oh by the way I have the same lighting issues, I know have five and it still seems dark to me…lol tyfs
Thank you Lorelle and yes. Lighting. Even on the rare sunny days, with the blinds all the way up, it seems dark in here. I have a great Ott light for close work, but lighting the big picture is a continual challenge. The side lights, pulled out just for filming, seem to help a bit. I might also try white foam core on the sides to redirect the light. It's always something!
Fabulous video, loved the 12 x 12 makes and my brain is buzzing so much with ideas right now! Excited about the #jjmassmakemarch and toying between scrap pads or something else! Xx
And Mandy is in the house! I love it and thank you for the kindness and for joining in. I’m certain you’ll make something that inspires and encourages all of us ❤
I’m a little late to the party, but I followed along, and that was really fun! Thank you so much!!! I hope your thumb is feeling better. 😊
It's only mid-March so your timing is perfect. Thank you and yes, it is getting better 😊
Hi Cori, just saying Hi, I'm a quiet watcher. I too cushion with scraps under the clips to alleviate those bummer clip impressions.
All these variations of tuck/pocketed hidden paper clips are genius.
Also loved both of your recent craft room tours. Glad you're on the mend from your injuries.
Happy March!
Thank you Sue, both for your kindness and for popping out of quietdom to say hello ❤
So glad to see you back to creating Cori. Loved the paper lips with Tracies birds on them and the mass make ideas too.
Thank you Rosemaree ❤
Corey, so happy to see you back in your craft room crafting! Yeah! I love the tips of cutting a divot on the paperclips and the eyebrow applicator! Wonderful tips! The use of the 12 x 12 was great also! But I have always enjoyed and learned from your videos! TFS! Hugs from South Dakota 🤗
Hello to South Dakota! Thank you Geri and I’m happy to hear that you gained an idea or two ❤
Sweet Cori! Catching up on your videos..... promise you'll do a monthly #jjmassmake challenge?! I've been having a blast!! TY so much for the encouragement and challenge! I've been making something every wkend and (trying to) posting to your IG. I'm a little behind and no worries right, what matters is that I'm(and so many others are) having a wicked-awesome BLAST!! Thrilled you are back to creating! :)
LOL! I sure had fun with the mass makes too! Of course, I've got a significant stash of ephemera now and I need to find new homes for it all! Bless you and thank you for always making me smile 😊💕
A simple divet to make sure the paperclip is hidden...thank you.
You are so welcome! That one was hugely helpful to me, too 😊
Lots of fabulous ideas as always Cori, I'll have a go at MASSMAKEMARCH. Thank you for sharing and thankful to see your mending 😍
Thank you Gaye. It feels good to be back in paper ❤
Brilliant as always! Thanks you for the mention 😄 Love the way you get so many things from one sheet. I will get my thinking cap on and try to come up with a MASSMAKE idea 🤔 xxx
You are amazing and inspiring and you always, always have fantastic products and ideas ❤
Cori! Watching your video will be the highlight of my week! So many fresh (and economical!) ideas. I'm looking forward to giving the 4 out of 12x12 a go! Thank you so much for including me! I'm going to try to come up with a #JJMassMakeMarch worthy of your hashtag! And yes, for my method 28-32# paper is best. PS. I LOVE all the birds in this video!
Thank you for sharing your fabulous technique and making it so easy to follow ❤ I’m certain you’ll share an awesome and inspiring mass make and I’m glad you’re joining the fun.
Wow Cori! What a fun video! Loved the idea of using the eye shadow brush! Brilliant! All your hidden paperclip projects were amazing! It would be so cool if you made an idea book for them. For the most important part, it's so great to see you healing so you can craft. Hugs and love!
Lol! I adore you Pat. Pretty sure I need another idea book! But you know… it could be a very fun challenge 😊
Sooo good to see you back on here, Cori, I've been missing you! I hope you are healing well and getting lots of love from your people and your furry people. I will ponder which thingie I want to make for your JJmassmakemarch challenge. Thanks for the awesome paper clip ideas, I am always amazed at how you much you can do with such a simple object as the paper clip!
Thank you Carrie and IU look forward to seeing what you create! I've got a few more ideas and hope they encourage or inspire you as well ❤️
Great ideas for 12 x 12 papers. I love it when I don't add to my scraps. I have enough scraps. Hahahaha. These are all so cute.
Lol Jill. I do love my scraps. Looking forward to seeing what/if you join the fun!
@@CoriDahmen oh, I'm joining in on this.... expect to be taged... hahahaha.

Brilliant ideas as always. Great to see you back on CZcams. I think the floral specimen cards are from Saturday Stamper
Thank you for that! I’ll pass that along in my next video. They were in a happy mail, so I didn’t know the source. I appreciate that!
I have to tell you….I kept hearing “battery is low”. While watching your video! I kept thinking…why doesn’t she fix that! Then watched the rest of your video with no sound! This morning I realized…it is my new Bluetooth headphones! Have a great day!
LOL Beverly! That is exactly, spot-on, something I would do!!! Thank you for sharing that and making me smile. I hope your weekend is a wonderful one 💕
@@CoriDahmen you have a great weekend too. I strive to make someone at least smile every day! Love your videos!
Hi Cori! I hope your health returns 💯 % . I love your mass makes, and appreciate all your sharing and ideas all the stuff😅 I have been mass making, but I don’t make videos-can we share to the hashtag over at IG?
Xo
Thank you Sue and absolutely! Please share on whatever platform you prefer. This is all about sharing inspiration ❤
I think the flower specimen cards are Saturday stamper on etsy. I purchased the digital prints long ago.
They are definitely SATURDAY STAMPER PRESSED FLOWER SPECIMEN CARDS. Digital prints. Etsy. $1.99.
Thank you Jamey. A few others agree with you so I've made note to give that shop credit during my next video.
Where did you get your tiny 'tuck' punch...I need one !!!! lol I love your take on other's ideas; you are such an inspiration !!!! I really enjoyed this video! So glad to know that you are on the mend. I will be contacting you on messenger in regards to your bigger, new, embosser,/ink station! Sending love and hugs, and more prayers for your continued healing.
Thank you! I think you’re referring to the We at Memory Keepers envelope notcher. It makes those half circles. And yes, I do have plans to offer another type of ink holder… that also uses a vintage base 😊
Cori, could you please tell me about the bees wax product you use. Love your work!
Sure! It is Seth Apter Vintage Beeswax embossing powder. It has a different texture and I just love it. I get it from Seth Apter dot com. Thank you!
Hi Cori. I’m glad your feeling better. All your creations look very sturdy. Can you tell me the weight of the paper? Thanks for your videos I learn a lot form you. Lisa
Hello Lisa! Most of what I use is cardstock. I know that comes in different weights and quality levels. The majority is between #110 and #200, but Tim Holtz brand is an ideal weight and easy to use, so that is why I often reach for it and encourage new folks to consider trying it so they can determine what weight works well for their needs. Many/most junk journalers use lighter weight paper, but I don't mind chunky books and I like the stability found in heavier weights. I guess I;m saying try a variety of weights to find what you most enjoy working with 😊
@@CoriDahmen thanks Cori
