I think everyone got better looking when they aged! I loved this classic ever since it first came out. I feel like it was underrated.
This video is very misleading and is full of negative qualities in my opinion. "Juice" is an urban classic portraying a time in our culture when we, once again, created, styled and laid the foundation for a new way to positively craft our self images and expressions through originality, courage, intelligence and drive to win/gain the support, love and RESPECT from crowds of our peers and strangers( like yourself)through 5 elements or principles eventually called Hip Hop. Some of these uncreative, no talent having, biters of today only know how to "cut copy paste" everything or "spin narratives" to appear as trail blazers or as the originals.
The truth and fact of the matter is that some of the most enriched intellectual property and content throughout time was birthed out of a suffering and oppressive lifestyle due to countless social and economic inequalities that had a choke hold on wanna be law abiding people doing their best to stay balancing themselves and communities in a very Unbalanced political predicament.
Clearly CZcams the internet and having 3 or 4 cameras posted up on every block did not exist like it does now so that those that don't know, didn't know and will NEVER know the code of the street back then can just wonder around today and do what you are somewhat attempting to do now with this video but in realtime. I remember when Bobby Brown was kidnapped and stripped of his clothes and chained to a bridge in walking distance from scenes shot in this movie and Whitney Houston had to bring hella cash to the area to save his life. Maybe that's why, to you the mother appeared to be rude cause she knew that kind of thing went on and didn't want something like that to happen to her son. So the struggle, the life, the people and the love then was very real it was HARD!.. but real...unlike today.
