Investiture for The Most Rev. Dr. Foley Beach

The Investiture of Archbishop Foley Beach was a time of celebration for global Anglicanism. Primates from across the globe came together to worship the Lord, invest The Most Rev. Dr. Foley Beach in the office of Archbishop and Primate, and bring blessings and greetings from their Provinces.
During the evening service, Pope Francis sent personal greetings and support to Archbishop Beach. A diverse range of ecumenical guests were in attendance and letters of congratulations were read from Barack Obama, President of the United States, and Nathan Deal, the Governor of Georgia. In his sermon, Archbishop Beach set out the four marks of modern Anglicanism. In all, more than 1,800 people worshiped together as the Anglican Church continues to move “forward, always forward, everywhere forward.”

Wow, the ceremonial is really strange -- its like they can't decide if they are evangelicals or pretending to be catholics. Such a shame that they are in schism from TEC.
