- Hi guys, in today's video we're gonna get into my personal juicy twist out routine :) I used one of my very own DIY hair products so I was very excited for this one lol. yeah i tried mini twists and i look like asap rocky😂just last night too! took me 6 hours because it required me to properly detangle my hair which i haven’t done in a while because i’m lazy...quarantine gives me no excuse
OKAY but Asap Rocky is a mood 😂 my brothers kept calling me Travis after they started getting stringy lol i’d take that anyday 😭 also I’m so proud of you for putting the time in lol ♥️

I usually do mini twists on my wet, curly hair, but I think I'll try this out!! I've been avoiding doing mini twists (even though I love the style), simply because it starts getting messy after like 3 days, and the take down takes a while since my hair gets tangled even when it's only been 1-2 weeks. I'm hoping blowing out my hair will reduce those tangles 😊😊😊
Omg yes that’s the reason why I blow my hair out!! I dealt with the same exact problems. I still have to do a bit of re-twisting during the week but not nearly as much as when I do it on wet hair! I hope it works out for you beauty! 💖🥰

I have an everything butter from vana naturals and it has shea butter as first ingredient but mango buuter and the 2nd ingredient. I think that makes a huge difference. I am going to dry out this style this weekend and see how it goes.

Where do you get the mango butter from ?
that mango butter looks awesome! did anyone with high porosity, mix textured hair try it out before?
Idk if I count lol but I do have high porosity hair & it soaks in so nicely! Doesn’t sit on top like shea butter or other butters at all :)

tips on split ends and how I can spot them?
Frequent trimming & frequent deep conditioning is key, if you twist your hair and the ends are stringy instead of coiled, it’s probably time for a cut!
can you use mango butter as a styler, to define curly hair? would it suit fine curly hair? does it leave hair greasy?
Personally, I wouldn’t use it for directly styling my curls after a wash and go or something, but I would use it on my scalp or as a sealant after styling with a leave in / my usual products :) it absorbs SO well and doesn’t leave my hair or skin greasy at all! Everyone is different so I’m not really sure it would suit you as perfect, but I do think you should definitely give it a try :)

I have hair loss from my 2 pregnancies. I'm using a product called keranique (I'm sure that's the wrong name. Lol.) But would this hairstyle be safe enough to use on my hair. The balding is more in the front, it's like a widows peak. I'm trying to find hairstyles that will protect my hair and help it grow. I have curly hair (if that helps at all?) Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you for the videos!
I’m so sorry to hear that!! I’m sure this style would be safe enough, just be as gentle as you can during the twisting process :) You also don’t have to blow out/stretch your curls if you don’t want to, as that can be added stress. When twisting, I recommend using a product that is as close to natural and nourishing as possible, I have the mango butter recipe up & I highly recommend! & thank you for watching 💓
