OMG!!!!! We have a lot in common. I have that identical Brompton miniature on display in my office! Plus… a miniature red Mazda Miata (I owned the real one for 17 years), a miniature black Vespa 300 GTS (real one was 2013-2019), a miniature red Vespa GTS 300 ABS (I just sold the real one last week), and a miniature grey Mini Cooper S Cabriolet (my latest real world toy).

When I bought my 2019 Superlight in the shop in Copenhagen, I had a choice of several models, colors and - prices, but they had all been assembled to be shown in the shop, so I never had the pleasure of actually unpacking my bike from a box! But I did give it all an autopolish, one of the first days of owning one, and found out that the lousy pieces of clear tape from the Factory, after only a few folds, had been worn through to the paint!!! So did you make a control before the assembly😁? Finn. Denmark

The Brompton comes in a box, but it is all assembled. We only have to mount the saddle.
But it is a great feeling taking out of the box.
I still have mine, it is useful to carry on the plane.

Chris, I was wondering if you have any opinions on tubeless tyres such as Tannus tyres. If you have spoken about these in the past can you give a link please? I have read so many mixed reviews they make my head spin. You would never get a puncture but are they comfortable? Yours is one of the very few opinions I respect from Brompton CZcamsrs.

I've used tubeless on my mountain bike. Not anymore.
If you do a lots of trails. It is great. But if you don't roll the wheels everyday, the inside product get together and form a structure that looks like coral.
And some products you have to replace them every 6 months.
For road bikes it makes a big mess when you get a puncture. It takes a wile to fill the hole and gets a little messy.
I think it is great for tournaments, competitions and Mountainbiker that ride everyday.
The quality of the ride, will depend on the tyre you choose.
And the wheels must have special rims for this purpose.
So, I can't give you a straight answer, because it depends on the purpose, the tire, the product,and the daily use of the bike. But I hope there is some information that will help you decide if it is good for you.
