Here is a video on VW Scirocco 2008-2017 Front bumper removal. In this video I also show you how to remove horn (both of them) and how to remove washer bottle or pump.

My bumper has 2 clips broken this one at 4:55 the circle one and one of the rectangle ones, it doesn't hold to to the car what can i do ? have tried zip ties but dont hold

Thank you for your help,I actually need to change the inner upper grill on my scirocco as it it’s cracked. Do you need to remove the bumper to do this please?
On my one they came out ok without taking bumper off actually... But they were damaged to be honest.

Wen you took the bumper of, did it go straight back on and line up 100% ? A lot of people say wen you take the bumper of its hard to line back up
My ones lined up well. It takes a bit of work to get it back on but as long as you have broke any plastic locators it will be fine

Excellent video & description! To your knowledge is there a way to can remove just the lower grille without having to remove the whole bumper? I don’t have anyone to help me and I don’t think I’m confident enough removing the whole thing on my own. Thanks for the content!

Depending on the type of your bumper. Usually the fitment is very tight and the tabs might snap. I would personally recommend taking the bumper off.

@mohamedneeewmahdi7877 Hi, I've brought my car and the R bumper to a repair shop. They've swapped my bumper and the result was very nice. As far as I can remember, they didn't need any extra parts, but I'm not 100% sure
Is it easy to remove the drivers side wing?
I havent had a wing off. But I know on golf mk5 its easy so I would think this will be very similar
Hi I have a broken bumper bracket on the side near the headlight is this a easy fix to replace or is it a new bumper job?
If its just the black braket that holds bumper to the body then u can get one of those cheap. As long as the bumper is intact u all good
@@AlexTheGrumpyOne great it’s because I’m looking at one that has a minor hit on the front and broke the bracket and the headlight lens are the headlights easy to change

Awesome mate, actually looking to remove both the front bumper and the right sidefender soon, if I may ask how long did it take you to remove the bumper? (just a ballpark)
Also, was putting the bumper back much more difficult than taking it off?
Taking it off is around 30 min max to be honest, maybe quicker if you know where everything is.
Putting it back you just have to be careful not to scratch the bodywork. Use some masking tape around it :)

Yeah it's quiet easy job comparing to other makes and models I get. Like I've said in the video. You don't really need to take headlights out.... But it makes it easier in my opinion. Let me know how you getting on. Good luck
@@AlexTheGrumpyOne I did it (far overdue), after driving around after about 2 years with a damaged front bumper and a dented fender, it was actually pretty easy after just getting behind the liner, was actually far easier than I thought, thanks mate👍

It's on the bottom part behind the bumper. 1 on each side
So many damn screws just for a bumper. My 96 Polo i had before the Scirocco only had 4 screws to hold the bumper. Almost a days work to get the bumper off now, lol

Are all the tubs ok? You can use hair dryer to help it locate properly

@@AlexTheGrumpyOne yeah the bumpers off but I’ve figured it now lol I basically attached the inner grill to the outer black gloss grill first before attaching it to bumper😞 so I had de attach it and then attach outer grill to my bumper first before proceeding

This is a VERY confusing video. You show you removing the headlights to remove the bumper but you dont need to. Very misleading
If you listen to the video I've mentioned that you don't need to remove them. I've just done it because it makes it easier and I wanted to show other bits for people as well. It's only extra 5 min to get headlights out.

Yes there is no need. In a video I did say that I only removed them to make it easier and just to show how to get to horn and screen wash pump.
