Oh and another takeaway, if you use a drone for commercial work, you need to be part107 certified. Commercial work includes social media like CZcams if you plan to make an income off of that. I watched a video about this last May and then purchased the Part 107 Course sso.teachable.com/secure/2458... I studied and learned for 1 month and then took my test. I scored a 95%, which is a testament to how good Greg and the crew over there teach. That link will save you $100 off the course and support this channel.

Site looks good your concrete scope is excellent
It’s good to see the trade keep going with your company
I just officially retired from the trade at 66 years old and look forward to more of your videos
I started at 14 years old as a carpenter and peeked out as a superintendent at 66 and love the way tools have evolved
Be good to see all your van setups
Good preplanning gives good results!
Does anybody else find that a rebar tying tool is one of the most satisfying to wield?
I saw on MattBangsWood channel a neat trick for keeping snapped lines if expecting rain. It was to spray them with clear lacquer stuff. Just another neat idea I thought you may appreciate.
We used to spray them with cheap hairspray but the newer black chalk stays really visible even in our wet winters
Pretty ironic the perfectionist doesn’t want anything perfect. I guess it doesn’t have to be perfect just 100% correct
@@stevenfoust3782 I'm not a perfectionist. Correct doesn't require perfection.
Awesome content as always. I was curious how u was able to straighten the long walls because and i wasnt able to see any braces
We didn't brace it 👍
I noticed no crawl space vents. Is that a conditioned crawl or are you guys putting them in the rim joists? Not sure where you guys are from but we are foundation contractors based out of Tumwater and primarily serve Thurston, Mason, Lewis and Grays Harbor. On a side note, I'm new to your channel and Watching your videos, you've inspired me to start documenting our foundation builds. Thanks for the content. I love your humbleness, it's refreshing. Also, do you only frame on your concrete projects pours or do you frame off of others' work? I have homeowners ask for framers on almost everything we do.
Non vented assembly. Stay tuned, I go in depth a couple of weeks from now on the process
👍👍
B Role FTW
What part of Washington do you operate in? I do foundations, retention vaults, retaining walls in the seattle area. I haven't seen you guys around before. Always nice to be familiar with others operating in one's sphere 👍
Spray hair spray on the chaulk lines for permanent line
Do you live nearby the site or do they put you up in housing?
How far is your commute and how long do you work in a day?
I have a question for anyone who has worked with this style formwork: have you ever gone through the hassle of setting the footings level enough that you can pour the stem-walls flush to the top of the forms? Aside from more time spent on the footings, are there any consequences to approaching it this way?
Nope. I was thinking about it a few years ago. Our pump guy said "don't do it. This is better. More accurate and faster" so we stuck with it this way
@@AwesomeFramers Thanks for the quick response! We've been really enjoying all your videos as we prepare for our upcoming construction project in the PNW.
@@HankButitta sweet! I hope it goes well
1 inch per foot or 1 second per foot?
24 hr strip requires curing seal. When the moisture leaves hydration stops. Initial strength @ 7 days, most @ 28, but you know all that.

Balloon framing, what is that exactly? vs "other" type of framing?
Platform framing is 1 wall assembly per floor.
Balloon framing is continuous from foundation to where it terminates at the roof line. Former is 8-10ft,latter could be 40ft.

I haven't heard that Bon Marche jingle in years Lol
I can't get it out of my head 🤣🤣🤣
Where is this exactly?
@@wutafungi I know that but I'm wondering where on the peninsula
Not going to answer that
what's the mechanical pencil I see you guys using?
It's a Pica dry,sold everywhere.

@@AwesomeFramers cheers!
Dont spill concrete on those boots. Those are your nice concrete finishing boots!
Can you show us a high-resolution picture of your house keys?
That’s what she said. 😂
Where’s your exact address and when are you home?
221b Baker Street, London
So that’s the place but when are you home?
