  • Kola Abiola, the son of the late business mogul, Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola is out to re-engineer the leadership selection process in the country. Kola Abiola is bent on walking the whole distance to ensure that the evils of 1993 do not rear their ugly heads in the nation's polity again. He recently joined the Peoples Redemption Party, a move he says is geared towards mobilising Nigerian youths to take over power from the All Progressives Congress come 2023. He speaks on The Arise Interview on his intentions.

Yeah, Nigerian youths are no longer fools . That is why we have to turn back from the so called APC and PDP syndroms drowning our country in a deep ocean of povert and shamelessness. Youths can easily find another rout of installing someone who is not part of them and never share their Ideology.

The problem we face Kola is not leadership but constitutional. The earlier you all stop this manipulative talk the better it will be for everybody. Talking about leadership problem in a country populated by 200 million people and that has been rigged constitutionally smacks of shallowness and lack of seriousness at effecting any change. Address the main issue and people will take you as a serious minded individual.
