    Got to be one of the best bike tube videos ever with excellent audio ( free from the usual wind racket) , well done Sir ! only downside:- makes my '79 Spada sound like a diesel dumper !

    Watching this repeatedly, waiting for my bought-unseen 1977 T3 to be shipped 3000km to me. God I hope it sounds like this

    for not having the best audio setup that sounds pretty damn good, must sound amazing in person.. Looks like it'd be a great first bike for a taller guy like myself.

    Great sound, I heard tickering only at the very end when you slowly opened the throttle from very low rpms, but this is normal I think, I was surprised the bike didn´t stall. Mine is a 2007 Breva 750 and is a pleasure to ride.

    this bike is my absolute dream but i'm 6 foot 8 inches (2.032m) is it gonna be too cramped do you think Guzzilutzi?

      I've seen 6' riders on these on the circuit. While you do set high and catch wind you'll be fine as long as you have a tall shield to block wind.

      I've got a '76 and it makes the exact same sound... maybe i'm a little comforted knowing it's not unique to my bike

    Good vid,shit gloves.No wonder he hesitated before putting them on.Such a lazy-reving engine.Bit tappety - or is that normal?

    • @guzzilutzi5869
      @guzzilutzi5869  Před 8 lety +1

      +Alan Williams The old suede gloves have a better grip on the throttle. The gloves are
      not beautiful but rare and appropriate greeting Guzzilutzi

    • @alanwilliams3677

      +Guzzilutzi Anything is better than nothing,I suppose.Fell off once without gloves when I was younger.Not good.

    • @OtisENGINEuity
      @OtisENGINEuity Před 8 lety

      tappet sound is normal, from what I've seen they have regular flat tappets you have to manually adjust just like old brit bikes. They are actually quieter than the modern guzzis with the overhead cams (or that POS 750 in the V7/9)

    • @DaveWatts_ejectamenta
      @DaveWatts_ejectamenta Před 6 lety +1

      Normal, and good, much better than a whiney cam chain imo

  • @opfipip3711
    @opfipip3711 Před 5 lety

    The sweetest V 2 sound ever. But unfortunately to slow. A Honda CX 500 could do that better.

    • @smeghead61
      @smeghead61 Před 5 lety +2

      CX500 faster, maybe to rust and die.

    • @opfipip3711
      @opfipip3711 Před 5 lety

      Well, my CX 500 went 180 - 190 km/h with 50 PS. And I am still alive.

    • @elephantman2415
      @elephantman2415 Před 3 lety

      I had both, and the CX had better handling through town traffic and was a great bike, but the Guzzi is in a different class in terms of speed and handling. Guzzis are deceptively fast. My Guzzi SP2 went on the dyno and had 53bhp at the back wheel.

    • @opfipip3711
      @opfipip3711 Před 3 lety +1

      @@elephantman2415 No, not all Guzzis are very fast.

    • @elephantman2415
      @elephantman2415 Před 3 lety +1

      @@opfipip3711 You are right. A CX500 would be much faster than a Guzzi 500, but not the 850 or 950 as mine was.
