That was a great shot. A quick and clean kill. One shot through the pig's brain and done. No suffering no running. Just one dead hog who won't bother the cows anymore. This is the kind of hunter I aim to be.

Great videos just FIY, I do not know if you noticed. I am a retired firearms instructor on top of many hats I wore in Law Enforcement. Please this is not to be critical of a fellow hunter and conservationist, I noticed you are riding the slide when loading a round in the chamber. This means not letting the slide snap back after pulling it back. Riding the side on any Semi-Auto Pistol can be very dangerous by a malfunction caused by you in the Glock. It can cause the bullet not to be properly seated in the gun or not letting the slide go into battery which both will give you a malfunctioning gun. No fire on the first round. This could be dangerous in hunting dangerous game like hogs and/or a self defense incident. This is only to help you out.
Plus very nice looking customized Glock. Be Safe and Keep on hunting and making awesome videos. really like the .50 BMG video you did on head shooting a dear. Thanks again for great videos.

First time with a xbow. Found it very easy to assemble. Had it together and was test firing in under an hour. Very accurate up to 40 yds. Certainly worth the price.

Honestly I am amazed that a broadhead can go through the skull and go that deep. Very efficient.
I just picked up a PSE Fang bow second hand in Camo for $175.00 with 12 arrows 6 broad heads 6 field points Scope & Cocking Rope with a cross bow target .I am impressed at the accuracy at 15 yards I hit within a 2" inch circle .I wish I had got into this along time ago . I like my first PSE cross bow I had used Bear recurves and PSE compound bows in the past but can no longer pull them back due to a shoulder injury .My State allows crossbows for hunting season as well as for wild hogs and coyotes which have no season you can hunt them year round .I am looking forward to nailing a wild Pig to the ground soon !

I don't normally comment but in this case I had to. Unbelievable! The way the hog dropped was unreal. As a bowhunter I have seen many animals shot but this one has to be in my top 2 or 3. I know it's an older video, but congrats on a heck of a shot!

I soooo envy you guys... theres no crossbow hunting here in the uk, For those who have a problem with this, that shot was clean and quick. death was instantaneous and by surprise and it wasn't killing for killings sake! it was to eradicate a nuisance hog which will be going to the table. The animal wasn't bred/ raised in a pen, pumped full of hormones and such like then transported miles arose roads squashed into a transport with hundreds of others before being slaughtered in some 'hit and miss' stunning process!! and don't even get me started on halal meat!!! great shot kieth and great video!! Great video, very clear. That was a bold shot to hit that hog in the its hardest point.
I am glad to see the crossbow had zero trouble. I actually had a .223 deflect from a head shot with out penetrating on a hog just a shade bigger than that one. Second shot dropped her though.
Issue? The only issue I have is you got pork chops and I didn't! I'll have to get out to Hogwild Adventures!
Some of the other hunting channels could do with seeing this, they may learn a lesson or 2 on how its supposed to be done, nice shot, great kill and certainly look very tasty, hope you enjoyed that hog

Totally wicked wish i was there with the Mantis crossbow doing that i would like to see what it would do in the same situation with a 425 grn arrow.I got big plan's to come there n live set up Talisman crossbows and go get me some hog's,deer,elk etc etc etc anyway you most certainly are the big bad wolf please do some more wicked ultra cool stuff.What was the distance you shot it at.

Sweet shot. Came looking for info on whether a XBow is any good for killing domestic pigs... Didnt take me long to find it. So could you give me any tips? Would an 80 lb one do? or is it necessary to have 120 or 150? What is a safe distance to fire from? Should I use a particular type of bolt/arrow head? Preferably if I could reuse the bolt too. I am planning on giving it an instant brain shot, hoisting it high and slitting its throat for a bit of black pudding. The locals just hoist it and slit it, but want to be a bit more humane. Thanks anyway, and nice shooting!

hi,i have a question!!!!if you hit a hog about 50-90kg ,on the head or the neck ,with a crossbow about 150lbs and 250fps with blades broadhead (125grain) at 30yards ,i ll take it ,with an instant kill or not??????i am asking because i m about to buy one..thank you!!
