The G-7 Summit hosted by Italy and many other top world leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said that to step away from the old trope of the 'west vs the rest'. G-7 is a dynamic group, where the world's most development democracies head of state was discussed about the global financial and development issues. Now, G-7 is less effective in all things. Because they discuss only problems not solutions. However, the manufacturing slowdown, the Covid-19 pandemic, and the impact of Russia- Ukraine conflicts. Again G-7 should review its identity and purpose amidst a rapidly changing global power dynamic.
The 50th G7 summit was held from 13 to 15 June 2024, by Italy. The G7 is an informal grouping of advanced democracies that meets annually to coordinate global economic policy and address other transnational issues.
In this 50th edition hone in on the various critical like Russia Ukraine war, Israil Gaza conflict and most importantly the Artificial intelligence establishment in nowadays. In this summit many others country were invited who are not the member of G7. The most VIP were, obviously our PM Modi ji , as well as Saudi King Mohammad bin Salman and representatives from European union.

Key attendees included leaders from the G7 countries (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States), as well as representatives from the European Union. Additionally, prominent guests such as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and other leaders from countries like Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Kenya, and Turkey were invited.
The summit addressed enhancing partnerships with Africa and the Indo-Pacific region, and discussed the implications of AI on global security and elections

A G-7 Outreach Summit was held in Italy and Italy's PM Giorgia Meloni invited various countries from global south include BRICS members to step away from the old trope of West vs the Rest. G7 leaders were known for their real time solutions for global development and financial issues but this time due to various uncertainties like Covid 19 pandemic, Russian Ukraine war, western conflicts, this meeting became less effective. it will be advatangeous for Mr. Modi to meet with some of the world's leaders but it did not yield with useful outcomes. So, the leaders should revive its own identity and purpose so that issues would be addressed in larger and more representational manner amidst a rapidly changing environment.
As We all know, G7 has lost its effectiveness and image with time due to many reasons like shaky electoral fortunes of partner countries, Russia- Ukraine conflict, Covid-19 Pandemic etc. But now , it needs to revamp his image by exectuting their committted plans to solve financial and global development issues rather than discussing them. It also need to end war between countries to ensure global peace. Otherwise, it will need to review its purpose.😊

1- The G-7, group of seven developed democratic nations, has invited 10 countries to outreach its influence in the global south.
2- The invitee nations are Brazil, India, the UAE and seven African countries.
3- It’s once considered as dynamic group of developed nations who had been bringing solutions to global financial and developmental issues but with manufacturing slowdown, the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia-Ukraine conflict and sanctions the group appears tired.
4- It continued to supply military, budget, humanitarian and reconstruction support for Ukraine but with no specific plan to end the war.
5- It is harsh on China about Indo-Pacific, industrial target and unfair practices but none of its members is ready to reduce trade ties, in addition to that eight infrastructure corridors have no execution plan.
6- In summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi focused on India’s election as ‘victory for the democratic world’, and harnessing technology as well as artificial intelligence to connect Global inequalities, and on the value of the Global South.
G7 is known for their real and effective solutions of the financial and development issues.But now G7 has lost their effective image due to the COVID-19 pandemic, manufacturing slowdown and the conflicts between Russia and Ukraine.G7 needs to revamp their policies and strategies.
