Hiking Giddy Edge in England

An 11 mile hike around the stunning Matlock in the Derbyshire area of England. It was a beautiful day so I headed into the Peak District for a long circular hike in the glorious sunshine.
This hike had a bit of everything from forests, roads, cliff edges, canals, cow fields, back alleys.... you name it - it was probably there!
It was great to get out and burn over 2000 calories but some of the twists, turns and paths on this route were hard to follow at times - I came close to losing my drone due to some heavy tree cover and signal glitches but luckily it returned to home - thank god!
The route I followed is available on All Trails. It is a strange one at times and not one I would truly recommend:

Please be warned that the route tells you to park on private land which is illegal according to the signs. I parked around 200 metres away on "Old Englishe Road" on the outskirts of the town centre. The cost of parking was £5 for 5 hours or £6 all day. Postcode is DE4 3LX.

The Giddy Edge cliff stands at a height of 300 feet and High Tor rises higher along the various peaks
