I have never paid for any mentorship’s but I see what works and what doesn’t. My business has been flourishing for over 2 years since coming home from doing 21 years in prison. No one gave me an opportunity to do anything. This was the best thing for me and my family. I came along way since then. So no, the fool is obstinate and knows not his ignorance. @@mmid8960 I never owned a truck but know several people who own semis and box trucks. Let me put it like this , either they all sold their trucks or they are parked. the industry is so bad right now it’s not even funny. Freight rates are low, diesel is still high. Unless your moving specialized freight absolutely DO NOT buy a truck right now.

Wow!..there's so much to learn about this space. This is my first time viewing this channel. I've been binge watching transportation videos all weekend taking in all the information I can before entering the space. I've been a shipyard worker for the past 21 years so this information is like a foreign language to me but I'm a quick learner with a lot of patience, commonsense. and the ability to discern that which is fake and what is real / useful.
This video was extremely informative and useful, so useful I have to now research what *Freight Factoring* is - coz I don't have a clue. That's how new I am. 😇

OTR denied me for having something in my background. Is there a factoring company that deals with people having backgrounds? This is 2024 some people do have a past. And trying to make changes.

If you booked through DAT load board you can report that broker. And also leave a review. Give OTR a shout if needed, link in description.
@BiggVic ok. No I booked it myself. That like hate TQL brokerage Co. smh... He's refusing to pay for my detention which he knew what the load required and then I didn't know when I arrived at the convention center that they would require for me to assist with the unload and I wasn't physically able to so I made arrangements to get someone to help. I informed the assistant to the broker aware but at the end of the day they are playing all kinds of games to not pay. Their acct dept even trying to say that I didn't contact the broker prior to the drop-off. I proved them wrong with that then they came up with other excuses about the detention and they have tracking on their loads so they have records of where the load was at all times. Thank you for the response.
If you sign up for a factory company are all your invoices going to go to them, is it however we want? Brought to you by speech text by the way
Only ones that are able to be factored. Not every invoice will be factored depending on the broker or company you are running freight for. ✌🏾

For anybody wondering what percentage they charge I was told today from an OTR rep that they charge 3.75%. I still have not decided if I’m going to go with them or not. The only upside to them versus RTS in my opinion is the fact that they have the non-recourse. RTS told me 3%
RTS also bases that percentage on how much you factor monthly. There are minimums for the lower rate. Read the fine print. ✌🏾

Do OTR Know what brokers pay and which ones won't
@@user-ik2xb3jj1q yes they do credit checks on all brokers. Check mark means they are good to go. I mention this in my DAT walkthrough video. ✅

I spoke with a OTR Rep today & he told me that they will be taking 3.75%. I have a new authority and one truck.
That fuel card is not a regualr fuel card, and he should be forthcoming sbout it. Its a pre paid card, and why epuld a new business need that? It doesnt help a new carrier at all.
