Humph will always reign supreme.
No he wont. Jack Dee is a most worthy successor
@@zapkvr0101Dee is a one trick pony whereas Humphrey Littleton was a world renowned jazz musician, funny and possessed brilliant comedy timing.
@@boycottpalmoil Fascinating. I HATE jazz.
@@boycottpalmoil Well that's just stupid. Humph never played the sax on ISIHAC that Im aware.
@@info-universaltoolsharpeni7151 You HATE jazz…fascinating.
Thanks for uploading all. These great old shows.
These gentlemen are so quick and witty! This show is a little before my time, it's great to be able to listen to them for the first time here.
A lot of it is worked out ahead. And no one cares
Youre aware it is all written ahead of time.
@@zapkvr0101 who pissed in your lemonade?
There is not much that me and the missies can agree to listen to except ISIHAC, thanks for putting these up.
thankyou 🙂 x
Happy 50th Birthday ISIHAC.
Jack Dee was/is the perfect successor - has his own style as good as Humphs, simply different..
Thank you, much needed medicaments
Cheddar Gorge sounds like the modern autocorrect game :D
1:55:00 “Another brick in the wall” in waltz time is a classic!
1:26:10 Painters’ film club is genius! 😅 (I come from a family of artists.)
Hello, Dali perhaps?
@@rogernorton9904 😄nicely done!
@@grimtt Thanks. How about Cezanne of Green Gables?
@@rogernorton9904 that literally did make me laugh out loud 😂 plus I really could imagine cezanne living in a green gabled house …
Genius ty
Hi! Thanks for uploading these!
Also, when are you gonna upload series 23 and other past ones?
Been busy, but I'll try and upload S23 & 22 next week
Love Paul mertons swipe at Angus deayton!
Angus Deayton was a great host.
These days, Paul Merton just sits on his arse and makes the occasional joke on HIGNFY. Angus was the real talent, with his dry wit.
Merton isn’t funny. Deaton was.
Angus Deayton was a great host of HIGNFY. He was royally stabbed in the back by Paul Merton and Ian Hislop.
These days, Paul Merton just sits on his arse and makes the occasional joke on HIGNFY. Angus was the real talent, with his dry wit.
He was more stabbed in the front. I liked the Deayton years, though HIGNFY was revivified when he left. These days, I wish they'd just get a regular host.
@gertrude perkins You have great capacity for empathy: good on you! Angus famously romped and snorted his way to being the news, whilst chairing a news show. "Kamikaze-satire"?
Not sure why you blame them, Angus from reports was outed by the tabloids and I did not hear of any connection of them to the revelation of his sordid affair and a sex worker etc. I didn't watch HIGNFY back then (it wasn't available here in the states). Did they out his activities to the tabloids?
You also evidently missed Paul's many many years as a regular for Nicholas Parsons "Just A Minute" on the Radio (Until Parsons passed away).
@@josephteller9715 No but Merton used it as a way to lever him off the show. He never liked Deayton and instead of sticking by a colleague he "stabbed him in the back."
Whether it was right or not I think that was the OP's interpretation.
3:16 100% CORRECT. Hontesly do not know how that rubbish last as long as it did. Bloody awful. Pauline Quirke was hideous
Almost like the success of TV shows is dependent on the acting and the writing rather than your opinion of the attractiveness of an actress.
