It really brings home the banality of some of the lyrics! RIP those wonderful previous cast members of the show Willie, Tim, Barry, Jeremy, Linda and of course Humph. who brought us so much joy and merriment especially on long car journeys. On several occasions, I nearly pranged my car I was laughing so much.

Some of the best of the “one song to the tune of another” here. David Mitchell nearly giving himself a hernia; Linda Smith giving it all she’s got and giggling away to herself into the bargain.
It’s one show where comedians seem to genuinely enjoy being there.

Great collection, but I'm surprised there's no version of "The Marrow Song"! That used to be a popular choice for the teams to sing some years ago. I remember a particularly good version from Barry, singing it to the tune of "There'll Always Be An England" (it fits just as well as "The Laughing Policeman" did, which says something about the versatility of that tune, perhaps!) - from S39E05 in June 2002.
From the same episode, Graeme singing "YMCA" to "We'll Gather Lilacs" and Bill Bailey singing "Run Rabbit Run" to "Stormy Weather" were good too.
Another favourite of mine was Graeme singing "The Teddy Bear's Picnic" to the tune of "She" (complete with cod-French accent in imitation of Charles Aznavour) from another of the 2002 shows.
