missing a comb over lift?
3:50 could be designed to have the e clip remover out of left over and tubular tension wrench
4:30 use a bank card or drivers lic to help crease
It has potential, Ash. With some slight rearranging of layout, including moving the Sparrows logo, it could hold 6 padlock shims. That long strip which wasn't even mentioned makes a useful probe or handcuff shim. And if the whole card could be made a little thinner, all of the tools would be easier to use. Thanks for the review. 🙂👍
This is a great idea. If you were worried about the thickness of the straight shims and didn't mind putting in the effort they could be sanded while still attached to the card. If you were careful enough you could even use a dremel style tool. Just take it slow and be patient.
Not a bad idea!
yes Ash mate very cool👍👊😊😎🇬🇧
Thanks Leon, mate! 👍😊😊😊
I’m wondering if somehow that large center section could be reshaped, maybe with some additional breakaway pieces, to function as a door latch slip/hook.
I was thinking the same thing
The creative hacks that experienced pros come up with are astonishing to noobs like me who can barely pick an acrylic practice lock. Very interesting and well paced presentation, keep up the good work.
Thanks I’ll try!
Very cool!!!
I like the handcuffs shim😀
🐈⬛🐾🐈🐾🇬🇧🍻
It’s very useful!
Now what the hell can I do to get in handcuffs to try this out? Hmmm 🤔
i love their unique little gadgets 🤩 .. i recently bought both sparrows hall pass and sparrows flex pass, but have unfortunately not been able to open a single door with them.
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS 🙂👍
Thanks 😊
Congrats on another successful collaboration with Sparrows!
Thanks 😊
Cool set. Makes for a good christmas gift.
Yeah!
That's a great idea especially for the wallet locksmith
Thanks 😊
Really enjoy all the new/innovative ideas 👍👍
Thanks 😊 I love thinking outside the box
Reviews are my favorite, nicely done!
Thanks 🙏
I'd say you gave it an absolutely fair review. No waffling on the plusses and minuses, just right as you found it. Good to go, sir.
Thanks Al!
Man you are a busy guy working on all this stuff! Keep up the good work! I’m hoping to get the big elite set you made from multipick for Christmas.
Nice gift!
@@LockNoob yeah “hoping” is the key word lol.
Today I learning about how to open a normal lock with a shim, thanks! That was really interesting 😀
Thanks 😊
Very nice!
Here's a tip from another hobby: Use the cap end of a Sharpie Felt tip, or some such, over a folded towel to put a rounded crease down the center of the shim. That blunt, rounded , slick plastic is perfect for forming thin metal. ( I used to make silver conchos for saddles)
Nice tip!
Interesting EDC.
All the very best to you and yours 👍 👍 👍 🍻
And to you!
Some small - 3mm or so - holes would make it easy to put punched-out pieces on a split ring after first use.
Nice idea
I thought for sure you were gonna slice your finger!😬 Nifty little tool though!
It’s not as sharp as you might expect, luckily!
Thanks once again for a great and honest review. It's all about SPP for me, but I can I appreciate the product. Thanks for sharing Ash and take care mate.
Cheers Gazz! Have a great one!
it can also be a makeshift rfid shield too!
Very cool idea. I wasn't expecting to see a shim card but alot better than putting standard shims in your pocket. :)
It’s very low profile and unobtrusive 👍😃
the material @14:19, you might be able to bend, with running pliers, used in glass cutting/ leadlighting
The waste part with the logo I believe could be used to shime open a door
It’s very thin, but might work
Im interested in mechanical automatic picks ,i've made a few in the past and would like to refine my designs.
All the examples ive seen so far are extremely crude . Are there any more sophisticated examples ?
That fact that the product can be sharp could be improved somehow, other than that great stuff and very portable!
Thanks 🙏
other than transparent locks, never found a lock that is loose enough
Could havd madd the big bit of scrap into a slim jim.👍🏼👍🏼
Not a bad idea! Hope your good mate 🙂
@@LockNoob yeah, not bad.
i like it 😁👍 would it be possible to make this in thinner material? or would that make it too dangerous in the sense of cutting yourself while using it?
I think it’s a balance, I’d have to try
Interesting....
Thanks 🙏
If I had to use a word to describe the residue left on the pieces after they're pulled off I'd used either "sprues" or "flashing." Neither are *technically* correct but they're pretty close. I wonder what the *technical correct* word is... Hrm....
I think the card concept is cool but takes too long.. I started with coke cans then bought some. They are amazing! Now pay attention Sir Lock Nube.... how many times are people handcuffed in front? Just saying I have yet to see a video with someone with hands cuffed behind them uncuff themselves. Challenge accepted? 🤔😆😎 I will be looking for a Valentine's Day lovers cuffs video tomorrow ROFL 🤣
The center section is also a tool.
It would have been great if it could be used as an other tool :/
I recon there could be room for more if I get to do a V2
it appears you are involved with sparrows which actually have .15 locks! consider making a plastic "IC" lock. they do have cutaways but they are exactly "real" locks and i need a practice one thats very large like most of the toy plastic ones are for pad locks.
How long have you been picking for, Ash?
About 5 1/2 years
Courtesy band-aids?
Lol, fortunately not needed for me
@@LockNoob Those small fastening points left behind looks *a bite* bloody risky to me, but glad to hear it :ø)
They would be called burrs
More a sprue, or more accurately a gate
It is a micrometer not a compass.
I think he said calipers
I said callipers 🙂
Can I have one
@That Scottish guy "no" or no
@That Scottish guy no no. Or no yes
@That Scottish guy so then how do I get it are you going to mail it to me or what
Where can I buy this? There is a 404 error with that link.
