I have to disagree man, when they have to do quick edits like this during fights it usually mean they're trying to hide the fact that the actors are bad at the choreography. If you watch hong kong movies and even john wick, they let the scene breathe and go uninterrupted to let you know see clearly what's going on.

I very much liked the cast from the first season. I thought Roscoe was awesome. For Willa Fitzgerald being 32 yrs old, she has a wonderful future ahead of her! I was hoping somehow she would do a few scenes in season two but Reacher is a wanderer! Not to be.
@@richardhart3442 and you're forgetting that these are hard women who are former military who were trained by Reacher in hand to hand combat. If you read the books you would know that the 110th Military Police Company were bad asses.

Race swapping Francis Neagley in the first series aside, that first series was decent and true to the book. This second series is bilge, they’ve dumbed Reacher’s character down, his team’s back story is a joke, they’ve even moved from the desert to wintry forest. I’m out.
Reacher has got a brilliant team.they are very skilful in hand combat department..this is a formidable unit.
You just gotta admire a man who knows EXACTLY what he wants & WILL find a way to make it happen.

Well, not oddly, this whole show is about revenge for throwing Reachers old team member out of a helicopter. I'd bet anybody $100 the bad guy dies being thrown from a helicopter.
Need 12 more seasons of Reacher at the minimum with the same writers and producers. Excellence...don't mess it up.

@@mauricetoussaint7283 more like highs are higher but also lows are lower. i like this seasons directing. i love reacher's companions more, because they are look more competent and more capable to keep up with reacher on many levels. the bad guys they've introduced feels reasonably more interesting. the action sequences and detective stuffs feels just as awesome if not better.
lower parts however... first season last reasonably longer to introduced us the ridiculous shits like that infamous crowbar fight, picard's getting shot and then disappearing like fucking batman, turning kj into the main villain.
this season, couldnt even last 3 episodes before giving us the fight scene where reacher and scarface hit each others with cinder blocks like it was a fucking snowball fight. that forced unrealistic barfight flashback. and a henchmen that get up after being shot multiple times like nothing happened because wearing vest(vests dont work like that)

I like how the Reacher character can show the diversity in leading a team, being a 1 man band, or being part of a greater group by showing cooperation. He can be a leader OR follower; which makes him a tremendous asset.

Jack reacher is my inspiration at the gym, fast, strong, agile. A lion, leopard and jaguar all in one. Great actor and great series.

It's nice to see a fight scene where someone's elbow or knee gets hyper-extended and they don't just get back up and keep fighting.

When I watched this episode I had to replay at least 5 times the scene where Reacher grabs the chain and throws the guy off of the motorcycle.
This show is a masterpiece.

What I like about Reacher is the fight choreography. They made every character use a fight style similar to how people their body type would fight.
yeah i loved the one weird no contact strike then a cut to another no contact then another...then some guy on a motorcycle drives off but is hit with a bat...like fan made shit like bat in the sun...theyve made farrrr better stuff...wtf its this?

Still this is very unrealistic. 12 motorcycle drivers would absolutely destroy 4 people. Doesn't matter how well trained these people are. especially if we consider that 2 of the 4 people are women which are phisically weaker than men and that the men were armed but they randomly decide to fight without using their weapons to not make noise. Nice series, but if you know something about martial arts you know that this is not realistic at all.
The chain move I’ve already watched like 20 times. Head but arm break is soooo badass.
Guys come a long way from being a no name career tribute in the hunger games to being such a well loved actor. I really hope he continues to go places. I loved Tom Cruise as Reacher in the movies, I love Alan even more.

The fight choreography for this scene was top notch. In a real life fight, knees, ankles and elbows are the most vulnerable points on your opponent.

They are recessed and protected by one of the hardest bones in the human body not to mention it's virtually impossible to not see an attack coming for your eye. The throat is also super protected. A throat attack also take like 10 seconds to be relevant to a fight and in that time the guy can mess you up.

The only problem with the stunts, in the books, Reacher didn’t have to hit em more than twice, unless they were a giant of a man, like him. Most of the time it was a head butt and an elbow or punch and, goodnight.

Whats great about this fight scene, to me anyways, is how all four of them have different fighting styles. They dont all just tank shit like Reacher.
I also like how they waited for Reacher to make the first move, he's still their leader. They follow his lead.

I’ve grown to love O’Donnell, from a cocky womanizer to a husband and father. Not to mention his sass is unmatched. 😂
I also love how we see his character utilize his brass knuckles and knife, which from both instances have saved his life.

I was happy we got Finley to appear for a bit. Nice to see a familiar face.
My favorite part is where a small woman holds off a man with a knife pressed toward her chest with all of his bodyweight behind it, bends down and grabs her high heel off her foot and manages to put it through the guy's eye. Pure genius writing.

One nice touch is that while the two women had been trained in combat, they were clearly hard pressed by their opponents, whereas some networks would have had them running the fight.
