@@sugamama4049 yes, MAX first sent SUGA one of the other songs, New Life believing it was the best fit. But Yoongi said he liked the song but it wasn't his style and he wasn't sure how he could do something that would fit the song. Then, as you said, Max sent him the whole album to just pick what he wanted!

I have been wondering since D-2 was released why this particular mix tape came with only 1 MV. They have ALWAYS released 2 MV per mix tape ( Rm, Hobi and AgustD). I have my own suspicion that What do you think may have been worked on for a next MV but due to controversy and crazy turmoil the track provoked, they just let it be ????

Suga said that Max had helped him and knew he had to pay him back for this particular song, so he helped him with Blueberry Eyes, one of the songs Max sent him. Also, Suga met Max in LA and when he found out Suga had never been to a baseball game he took him to one and both enjoyed it. When haters come out to attack BTS, Max has been one of first ones to ‘defend/protect’ the boys. From the beginning Suga has been my favorite rapper in the group. I love how he raps and how talented he is as a rapper, producer, music/ beat maker.

Hi Anthony, great reaction as always. I rarely comment on youtube but I just want you to know that your reaction videos are so special, not only because of your interpretations of songs with your music background, but also you never forget to show that you enjoy the music itself.
I think that's what separates you from other reators (its not about which is better), because usually reactors with some expertises (like music, dance, arts, or any other fields) pay attention too much to what to explain from BTS videos, thus I can't see if they enjoy it or not, even though its okay bcs that's what their channels for.
There are some channels that showing both of reacting side and explanation side like you do, but usually their videos are really long like an hour, that's why I can understand why reactors usually focus on one side.
As an ARMY, I also understand that most of ARMYs don't mind watching long reaction for an hour or more, but I think your videos could be really helpful for those who are not ARMY or newbie ARMY bcs of the duration is not too long but still so informative. I remember that when I just discovered BTS last year, it was too overwhelming to find all the information by myself so I watched some reactors and followed their journey of discovering BTS. Watching reaction video is like having friends to discuss together, you know 😂
So, I think its really cool that you're showing the fun side of reacting and explaining, and still keep the video duration less than 30minutes. You're such a good content creator! And also I listen to your songs everyday, you're such a good musician too! Keep it up with your awesome work!

I loved you saying Suga/Agust D is becoming one of his favorite rappers, even though you don't understand what he's saying. Suga/Agust D is a masterclass! As far as the BTS rap line goes, I immediately gravitated to Suga. Listening to his mixtapes pretty much cemented the feelings I have for him. The emotion and meaning behind his music, his voice, etc. etc. The same applies to BTS. It's why I love music. It's the universal language.
(Sidenote: I don't even understand a majority of what U.S. rappers are even talking about or saying nowadays, but what I do know is that it isn't pleasing to my ears and makes me wish we had 80s-00s rap back. It definitely doesn't matter what language it's in. The feelings you have listening to the music is what leads you.)

August D (Suga) is my favorite rapper in BTS. He is right up there with Eminem for me. He is an incredibly gifted individual. He is already a very well known producer and I see him becoming a legend in his craft.

When I heard this song I had given up something big that everyone believed was good for me but I didn't think so. I was being pressed from all sides to start it again but I didn't want to do anything at the moment. The pressure made me doubt myself and it made me so stressful. This song and Paradise saved me. They both came to me at the right time.

How i interpret it is the voices in his head saying "i want it", like telling him to be more greedy. But he doesn't want to so he wanna burn the voices in his head.

In a live video an army mentioned to suga how after contemplating a lot she is finally giving up on her dreams. and suga said 'you must have a lot of courage for doing so'. We work on our dreams so hard and even if things aren't working out for us we tend to hold onto those dreams because we don't want all the time we spent achieving it to go to waste. Suga has always talked about working hard for your dreams if you have one but he also accepts the fact that sometime we have to give up on them or change the route for our own good and that decision is a tough call. Just like how suga came to Seoul to be a producer but changed the route and joined an idol group.
An army mentioned how what yoongi's talking about is also a real psychological concept: sunk cost fallacy (i.e. saying "i put so much time/money/effort in, i can't stop now!" even if you're just going to keep losing).
To add more to it, in business, sunk cost is when you spend money on something but it can't be recovered anymore so it goes to waste. Kinda goes with the psychological concept that army mentioned that people don't want the time they spent to become a 'sunk cost'. Also another name for the sunk cost fallacy is the concorde fallacy
For me, this song, Daechwita, and What do you think are the most visceral of the D-2. Its no joke. I hear them and my heart starts to race, head to bang and skin to cover with goose bumps. He and his voice always evoke such a powerful cathartic emotional unleash. Nobody’s voice and presence effects me like his does. You can feel it that he had truly lived through some really tough experiences in life.
Agust D's mixtapes are always with such a dark energy. J-hope's "Hope world" mixtape on the other hand is always full of hope and energy. They are as different as day and night, but they are such cool rappers
