I think the reason why people loved Sherpa so much was due to the special bond Jamie and he had. He made Jamie so happy. He will be sorely missed. If dogs could become angels, Lord Sherpa definitely earned his wings.

Although I must admit, I'd been preparing for it for months because I knew how old he was and I have already dealt with a lot of grief, so I brace and prepare myself for any loss of someone O love..and I watched and loved Sherpa for years. I was already entering a bad depression this past week...Sherpa is one of the many animals who I would watch for comfort, and the longest as well (huge fan of him and Key for many years now) so it was devestating to find out. But I am glad I did mentally prepare because Ice already been a mess as is this week, crying more than I have daily in the longest time. I kinda feel stuck in it right now, and I imagine Jamie is feeling that way as well and worse which is why I empathize so deeply right now for him. I worry a lot, so I'm glad he's kept in touch via his community tab! Ps: sorry to dump my own pain rn, but I'm really suffering and it's spilling over.

I saw a little plush husky at the store today. The first thing that came out of my mouth was " Sherpa." I look at my husband to ask if I could get him, and he told me to put "Shepra" in the cart. I saw a tear roll down his cheek, and he is not a crier. We both loved Sherpa, and we also love Nook very much. Bless you all. ❤

That Sherpa had perked up,& been carrying a chronic illness without complaint speaks of the love he had. Feel for Nook & Key,as much as Sherpa will be waiting for them over the rainbow bridge in full voice again demanding ear scritches, sausages, sausage rolls & nuggets! Never forgotten. 🌈❤🥲
Don't forget the chicken balls! Do you remember down by the lake, to try and spot the Sherpagator? The time Jamie threw chicken balls at him, and he managed to catch a whole one in his mouth? I know that a lot of us are still mourning, and can barely imagine the grief Jamie is feeling. I just wanted to add a good/ fun memory to share with fellow hoomans who love Sherpa, and in the spirit if this video. The moment I wrote that last sentence, was when I heard Sherpa's beloved Gran-ny, say "the last 5 minutes, and he's making the most of it". Even though it was said about Nook and his funny zoomies, the words are very fitting for this situation. There are several moments that we can see Sherpa smiling, and "THROW the sausage, not drop it please Gran-ny". He really did make the most of his time with his beloved Nephew and his hooman family. Wise Gran-ny whom Sherpa loves very very much. I use the present tense, as I believe that his huge heart and soul is still around somewhere. ❤ to everyone here, and of course to our beautiful, beloved boi, 🐺😇❤
And the bestest protector and patroller of his property, keeping it safe from predators for himself and his Dad.....plus the bestest howler, I mean singer!

I could not agree more. I'm a spiritual person, and I genuinely believe that some dogs are purposely sent to us, specifically as guardian angels, and to spread love, playfulness and remind us of a time, when the world was less divisive. Sherpangel- thank you for loving us hoomans, and teaching us how to appreciate the "small but priceless" moments that REALLY matter.

No one could know that he had lots of tumors inside his belly and that it would end like it did 😭. I still look back on my six dogs, each one different and wonderful, but after a time I always find another woofs his way into my heart.

I try not to read too many of the comments because they are so lovely and make me cry. I read them a few at a time so I don't spendthrift entire day crying. I need to get work done too even though I'm feeling a little heart broken.
We all loved Sherpa and are family even though not related. Sherpa brought us all together and I hope Jamie feels the love.
That Sherpa had perked up,& been carrying a chronic illness without complaint speaks of the love he had. Feel for Nook & Key,as much as Sherpa will be waiting for them over the rainbow bridge in full voice again demanding ear scritches, sausages, sausage rolls & nuggets! Never forgotten. 🌈❤🥲
Don't forget the chicken balls! Do you remember down by the lake, to try and spot the Sherpagator? The time Jamie threw chicken balls at him, and he managed to catch a whole one in his mouth?
I know that a lot of us are still mourning, and can barely imagine the grief Jamie is feeling. I just wanted to add a good/ fun memory to share with fellow hoomans who love Sherpa, and in the spirit if this video.
The moment I wrote that last sentence, was when I heard Sherpa's beloved Gran-ny, say "the last 5 minutes, and he's making the most of it". Even though it was said about Nook and his funny zoomies, the words are very fitting for this situation. There are several moments that we can see Sherpa smiling, and "THROW the sausage, not drop it please Gran-ny". He really did make the most of his time with his beloved Nephew and his hooman family. Wise Gran-ny whom Sherpa loves very very much. I use the present tense, as I believe that his huge heart and soul is still around somewhere. ❤ to everyone here, and of course to our beautiful, beloved boi, 🐺😇❤
Sherpa was the best uncle, the best brother, the best friend, the best playmate ever. A big embrace, Jamie.
And the bestest protector and patroller of his property, keeping it safe from predators for himself and his Dad.....plus the bestest howler, I mean singer!

I could not agree more. I'm a spiritual person, and I genuinely believe that some dogs are purposely sent to us, specifically as guardian angels, and to spread love, playfulness and remind us of a time, when the world was less divisive. Sherpangel- thank you for loving us hoomans, and teaching us how to appreciate the "small but priceless" moments that REALLY matter.
Nook will always remember Sherpa cuz he waz a great uncle. Just remember all of the good times you all had with Sherps. No one could know that he had lots of tumors inside his belly and that it would end like it did 😭.
