To the driver of the Ford bronco, in the Collision repair industry, we would always recommend that you file the claim and at least get an initial estimate. You're probably entitled to an alignment and maybe even a tire replacement. More importantly, if you have a wheel bearing fail in the future or if some other suspension component should fail in the right front corner, you may have coverage later on! I strongly recommend you contact your insurance and the insurance of the other party, but not to teach anyone a lesson, just to protect your investment. Happy motoring! Oh, and nice truck, man!!
That, and if the guy wanted to, could've reported the cammer for a hit and run and caused a huge mess.

Exactly what I was thinking, there could be unseen current or future damage. The guy was nice, and didn't want the runner to deal with leaving the scene. I'm up in the air on this one as I'd probably let it go to as I'm also very accommodating. That, and the fact there wouldn't be much damage if it did exist, and it would behoove me to pay for the repairs rather than have my rates go up with an insurance claim. Save the claims for obvious damage in the $1000's, and up range. 😁👍✌
I know someone that works in claims and she said broncos are the worst for being totalled easily. So that damage may very well come back to haunt them.
Dude with the Bronco definitely should have made a report. The jackass that hit him committed misdemeanor hit and run. Additionally, the Bronco was brand new and had damage to the tire and possibly wheel. Sidewall damage can be pretty catastrophic. As someone else pointed out, it could have also damaged the wheel bearing and a multitude of other suspension parts.

Also likely he had turned on the cruise control ... gets 'em every time! Otherwise, there's no logical reason for that car to get sideways like that, if throttle control remained smooth and the driver didn't hit the brakes.

I would say he probably overcorrected and lost control, and by that I mean he probably jerked the steering to the right when it pulled to the left.
He was going too fast for the road conditions, I don't lnow about his tyres, but going that fast on a rainy day and swerving suddenly doesn't usually end well.
If you hit a puddle and your car starts to hydroplane the best you can do is hold your steering straight and don't try to correct until you've cleared the puddle and the car regains grip.

Hell yeah he should’ve made a report! That guy was only sorry once he was caught. People like that need to be taught a lesson, and even then they probably won’t learn. Report everything. I had a similar situation with a guy years ago and let it go, asusming the guy maybe learned something from it. And not a week later, an almost identical but still somewhat minor collision happened with another neighbor who was also going to let it slide until I pointed out that the same douchebag hit me and tried to bolt.

That's one thing that I have learned from my driver instructor. Never swerve to avoid collisions. Brake and keep your lane. If you swerve and cause an accident it's going to be your fault, but the real guilty party drives away without a worry in the world.
Never fail to make a report even if it looks like there is no real damage. You never know if there could be unseen damage like the alignment out of whack.

Alex might not legally be at fault but that's a severe lack of defensive driving to not notice or do anything for 5-6 seconds about the car coming into your lane

crash repaired cars also rust out in the impacted area (at least where I live where salt is used) much earlier than a virgin vehicle. I don't want that on my vehicle... been there, now I try to avoid... as if I'm riding a motorcycle.

First clip: Hey this bump partially fixed the road rager's brake light 🤣
Most likely blown bulbs. The bump caused the broken filament ends to touch and the power flowing then held it together - until he switches off later.

Entering the road without giving way
Unsafe lane switch (cutting off 3 lanes)
Unsafe lane switch 2nd time (switched lane without checking the mirror when he saw dude emergency braking)
Uncertain driving (he literally was scared to just get back to the left turn lane and continued straight)
Unsafe lane switch 3rd time (when honda cutted him off)
Failure of keeping safe distance
And after all of this, it's not David's fault? 🤣
David is a shitty driver, maybe he should consider switching to a bike.
The accident itself shouldn't have happened. It was 100% the other driver's fault
@@simongrankvist8892 Once again, David cutted him off in a first place. Other drivers reaction was unacceptable, but if David wasn't bad driver as we can surely see, event would never occur.
This is an video posted on and discussed on other sites with much longer clips where it's easy to see the cammer completely cut off the other driver, who had to cross over into the median to avoid an impact/accident. The cammer is a horrible driver and was completely at fault for initiating the series of events that happened. The other driver did cut in front of him but had to brake for traffic that was stopped at the light. The cammer was so enraged, he accelerated to close the gap and did not have enough room to stop. So it appears the cammer is at fault.
you forgot illegally using the center turn lane to get to the left turn lane down the road. Based on the double yellow markings, you can't do that.

Believe it or not this was actually me. I was 100 miles away from home (just about) and he was behind me when it happened. When the tow truck was finally coming along, we went to bucees and I bought him breakfast. I later sent him an Amazon gift card as a thank you

I thought so too, my video by the way lol. I didn't add this when submitting the video but one of the police officers when I got around to my trunk had his cell phone out and was taking probably seven pictures a second, I'm positive for all of his buddies back at the precinct. Afterwards me and my buddy just laughed about it the entire rest of the drive home, and we still laugh about it to this day.
1st video: so why did David speed up behind the driver that passed him in rage? (forced to rear end him....he shouldn't have sped up like that) 0:27-0:30 you can CLEARLY see David floored it just after the guy illegally passed him and then rear ended him because he was accelerating before slamming on the brakes...yes the other driver shouldn't have brake checked, yes the other driver shouldn't have passed him on a double solid line...doesn't fix stupid for both drivers.
That wasn't a brake-check. You have to watch closely but at 0:27 (before that guy's car blocks the view), traffic is stopped in that intersection for some reason. It's David's job to pay attention to that and he clearly screwed it up. The narrative was written by David, who posted the vid, so of course it's going to favor him. I'd bet money that he's full of shit about that guy admitting the brake-check, admitting fault, and that insurance is siding with him. From this video, nope! David was so busy bitching and raging that he didn't see him stop for stopped traffic ahead and hit him. David's at fault 100%.

David messed up with the turn, pulled out too early, and got pissed and swerved Left and not right.. he went towards the middle of the road and the Honda was trying to pass on the left. David should've stayed right. Then he got pissed and sped up to chase the guy in front. Guy needs to chill out,.. he did something stupid, didn’t let it go. Don't drive after the guy...

What is going on in the first video? It doesn't really match the description...David was accelerating after the silver sedan after that stupid overtake instead of slowing down and take it easy for the junction ahead. The other driver didn't really brake check him in a classical sense with nothing in front of him but was too fast aswell and therefore needed to harshly stop for the cars clearly visible directly front of him (silver SUV)... this crash was at least 80% Davids fault in my opinion.
8:27 - The most interesting part of this video is an insurance company paying for gas for a rental car as the cammer's car was electric. Hadn't thought that one thru myself...

I hate the assholes that go under the speed limit then when you try to go around them then they want to speed up to prevent you from doing it.
Many years ago I was driving to my parents place at 7am in the middle of winter, the light changed ahead, I gently applied the brakes causing my car to spin around three times before placing me right where I was supposed to be in front of the traffic lights. Luckily no one else was on the road at the time.

Of the cammers, Zach is the best driver. He dealt with it problem without drama and everybody had a much better day. Maybe the driver of the other car has learnt a lesson too (and also to close the fuel flap on her car properly, something I couldn't help noticing).
Also, Anders D and the van driver both did the right thing even though the latter made the initial mistake. The actions of either would have prevented the accident, so a good job. Nobody is perfect; we can all make mistakes, but it's how you deal with your own, and those of others that matter.
Incidentally, in England I think that sheep are, genuinely, just as entitled to use the road as motor vehicles. Not just that, but the legal onus on keeping everybody safe, including the sheep, is probably on the car driver. That's especially on those roads where sheep have free access. Also, sheep come in flocks, not swarms...

I feel bad for Elliot. Probably never knew how dangerous driving on wet roads could be. Saying that because he was hauling ass. The ONLY reason I learned about hydroplaning was because I was on a road trip with my dad. We were on the interstate in the rain and a car passed us and my dad goes “don’t drive like that guy. Bitches hydroplane driving like that” sure enough, he slowly started sliding, over corrected, and hit the wall that separates the north/south bound lanes. I will never forget and ever since that, I always drive slow in the rain. Better safe than sorry

Brake checks should be, at minimum, reckless driving (with loss of license for at least a year bare minimum), and at most, attempted murder.

He has a responsibility to have functioning brake lights❗️ If he had working brake lights, this would have been David’s fault, no doubt - HE should keep enough distance to stop, brake check or not (I see a trafical stop, not necessarily a brake test) - but when you can’t see a brake light, it’s not easy to react accordingly❗️ 😝
