What are Laura's favorite traditional UK candy?
I've yet to try Mexican candy, do you have any recommendations? I may pick some up in the future. My favorite British candy is most likely fruit pastilles. Just the right amount of sugar and fruit juice and all the flavors are yummy. Thanks for watching as well as your constant support!
@@LauraLemurexASMR I'll have to look up fruit pastilles now. If you cant get some of the most traditional ones: Alegrías, Mazapán, Palanqueta, Muéganos, crystalized fruit, Puebla Camotes, Chamoy.

Big debate over Jaffa cakes is tax related, there is no VAT on cakes but there is on biscuits so McVities went to court to prove it was a cake not a biscuit.

Now the rabbit hole just gets more confusing as to why there's vat on biscuits but not cakes?

@@LauraLemurexASMR Because weirdly biscuits are considered a luxury but cake isn’t.
The definition basically ended up as , if you leave it out a cake goes hard whereas a biscuit goes soft.
@@andylycett2835 I think such tax categories could be divided into calorie density, since this impacts public health expences.🤷♂ Mexico is taxing such products.
