That was so brave to go to the police, and testify in court against him. That boy did the right thing, knowing he would go to jail too. And RIP to the victims. I'm so sorry that you had to go through this. It's a nice, peaceful cemetary, by the way.

Blame the Supreme Court for allowing 150 inmates a day to be released.
So let me get this straight… he took the lives of three innocent children, brutally, and was released from prison? Even back then, the judicial system in the US was a disaster. RIP to all these innocent lives taken at the hands of a monster.

I was living in Austin, TX when he kidnapped and murdered Colleen Reed. The fear in Austin was palpable. Being a single female, Colleen’s kidnapping made me (and all of my female friends and coworkers) think more than twice about going anywhere alone, day or night.
He was caught for this heinous act when his not-so-innocent co-murderer Alva Hank Worley confessed. McDuff was convicted and sentenced to death for the kidnapping and murder of Melissa Northrup - a pregnant woman who was working at a convenience store in Waco, TX.
His execution in 1998 was not an appropriate death for him. He didn’t deserve a simple and painless death; he deserved something much worse.

Exactly like with the Tate/ Labianca murders. Originally Manson and some of his evil cohorts was given the death sentence but as Lamont pointed out in 1972 they did away with the death penalty and so they too received life sentences at the expense of the taxpayer's!!! Lucky Manson and Susan Adkins have passed on and now suffering in hell !!!
