- Trying out the shield plus from Smith and Wesson for the very 1st time.
These things are a bargain in my opinion.

Not too shabby especially for the price..... it shoots great and is pretty light and has plenty of magazine capacity..... thanks for checking it out.
It seems like if you buy a carry gun now, you should be good because most of them run. My friend has a Glock 43X MOS. I have a Sig P365X. My other buddy has a Taurus G3C. I've yet to see a malfunction in any of the guns when we go to the range.
I've done two reviews on Taurus handguns.... and I have not bought anymore of them....lol. I will stick with glock, s&w... or perhaps sig or canik....... walther makes a great firearm also. Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.
You should always make sure your carry guns run. I’ve seen glocks malfunction right out of the box.
I have both Sheild. and Shield Plus. Nice options for carry.

I have one for my EDC. I got mine with a thumb safety so I can safely carry it locked and loaded. I am happy with the M&P9 Shield Plus. Very good value for the price.
I added iron night sights for sight enhancement in low light conditions.
Glad you found something that suits your needs. A small safety such as the one found on a shield is a fine motor skill and when in high stress environments such as a shooting or self defense moment, fine motor skills often go out the window. Thanks for checking out the video.

Ive had my optic ready one for about 2 years now and have 3k thru it. Absolutely love this gun. Ive tried "upgrading" a few times but it always finds its way back on my hip

I alternate carry sig p365 macro & shield plus performance I love both , but sig is my favorite
The shield plus and Springfield hellcat are my top micro 9mms for my backup carry to my glock 19 or my glock 47

Besides the Shield Plus, what Glock do you consider better for conceal carry?
hard to beat a glock 19 if you have the right type of body to conceal one well...... if you need smaller I would go with the 43x....... I am tall and skinny and can conceal a pretty decent size firearm..... I rock a G45...lol. If I need something smaller I carry my Masada Slim sometimes. Thanks for stopping by

The sheild plus is a good shooter it’s in my EDC Rotation you and her both will like it and I want too carry it in your rotation.
Yeah it was a surprising little pistol especially for the price. I generally carry my G45, but she has pretty small hands..... she needed something with a fairly small grip. Thanks for checking out the video this morning.

They might as well market this as a 12 + 1 capacity. With one already in the tube the 13 fully loaded mag won't lock in. Have to take one out making it 12 + 1😢
I don't believe I had this issue with this particular pistol..... I might have to go back and check my video when I edited it.... but I'm pretty sure I had no trouble getting 13 rds in the mag that came with this one. Thanks for checking out the video. @AverageGIJoeOutdoors I can get 13 rounds in the mag it just won't seat into the magwell if one is in the chamber already.

You can also send your mags to S&W and they will replace them for free.
@@williamburczyk3398 I can load all thirteen rounds in the mag. With one already in the pipe the mag won't seat in the mag well with a fully loaded mag

ah.... she knows it's a dang fine pistol.... even under 400 bucks... I would carry it..... that's all that matters..... I mean she was looking at a $750 dollar SIG...... but being a farm girl, she knows the value of a dollar and not everything expensive is always what it's cracked up to be...... the shield plus is a great ladies companion. buy once and cry once. Sig 365 comp would be the best but the SW and 43x isn't bad
the 365 macro comp still has sig stamped on the side of it...... lol. I've not been impressed with any sig product in the last 15 years...... and they have all had issues...... I would say for the money it is hard to beat the SW shield plus..... and the thing shoots great, feels good, and has been %100 reliable. Thanks for checking out the video.
Had a macro comp. Ended up trading it back to the shop for a 2.0 compact.

I say 365 is best due to mag capacity. My mp 2.0 performance is the one I carry the most due to the slimmer single stack( older model). I don’t own a Glock 43x. It was a hard decision when I bought my 365. I wanted a Glock, but guntubers on CZcams influenced me. I say, I probably been happy with both, but it have a Glock 21 and didn’t have an sig.
