  • Shenzhen China is living in the future - We had always heard so much about Shenzhen being a futuristic city which is why we decided to plan our trip there with great anticipation. The skyline of gleaming skyscrapers and innovative architecture did not disappoint.
We were impressed by the efficient public transport in Shenzhen, China. The seamless integration of technology into everyday life, from facial recognition payments to widespread high speed internet was truly remarkable. The World can definitely learn a lot from Shenzhen China and how it's already living in the future.

It's true , some 40 years ago, Shenzhen was just a "Fishing Village". Sometime in 1982 thereabout, I was inspecting some conveyor belt machinery delivering concrete materials over a fence from the border of Shenzhen to the Hong Kong side, for a client. From the HK side, I could only see "flat empty land" over a long distance , probably some farms , literally no concrete buildings. The development of Shenzhen is truly amazing , to say the least. ( The development of Pudong in Shanghai was also similar , from what I saw in my working trips there is the early 80s )

All the chefs have moved so it attracted their skills, like a brain drain out of China. So you don't need to go to China for good authentic Chinese food anymore (or Chinese anything), that is elitist thinking. Multicultural melting pots like Canada already have all the best from every part of the world. This is what Hong Kongers and westerners told me btw.

How bt trying some new dishes like地三鲜di san xian(vegetarian) and 牛肉炖土豆niu rou dun tu dou (beef) and so on. It's best to go w plain white steamy rice brings out full flavours of the dishes.
Have u tried Chocolate blended ice it's one of my favorite not sure what it's call in China.
Did u upload all ur China videos in bili cause i see there's only 3? Even if others uploaded but pple who've not seen can check out the originals, just takes a matter of time and patience to build the channel.
Pls always keep ur pureness and positivity dont ever change, or influenced by pple like OTWD, i mean calling everything unbranded 'fake', plus 4 good quality T- shirts for a fair 200rmb yet still lots of negativity coming out from their mouth jeez!
Last but not least, Taz & Lizzy thks for bringing us fun & joy to destress our lives.

I am Chinese. Shenzhen is a metropolis on par with Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, and is the region with the richest electronic products in China. However, it should be noted that some products may seem cheap but actually have hidden secrets. For example, counterfeit products that resemble well-known products in appearance. The shell of the charger is printed with 65W, and it is possible that the output power may not reach 65W. The merchant or manufacturer will argue that this is its model and not the output power. For example, a charger needs to look at the output parameters printed in small letters, which are usually the actual output power . But this phenomenon almost only exists in goods that are relatively cheap. There is an old Chinese saying: you get what you pay for. Businessmen from all over the world are all trying to make money. As consumers, we need to be clever.

    @14:59:
    Are these steamed or boiled?
Some information about the traditional Cantonese cooking:
The container you see is called 蒸籠 (steamer translated by Google) claimed by someone to be date back to 5,000 years in Southern China (bamboo steamer from wikipedia). Simply copy and paste the word 蒸籠 to Google image search and tons of the pictures of this 蒸籠 will be shown.
The Chinese word 蒸 means steam and the word 籠 means a cage as the foods are sitting on top of a meshed bottom which looks like being caged in a meshed cage. When these
蒸籠 are stacked on top of one another, a 蒸籠 tower is created. The steam passes through the bottom mesh and cooks all the foods stacked up inside this 蒸籠 tower. The top one of course is covered by a lid.
Now, you should know whether they are steamed or boiled.
    Have a nice meal.
Thousands of years ago, humans knew how to use steam to cook but only about 300 years ago, humans started to get the idea of how to use steam to push - the human intelligence on how to use the two different kinds of energies from steam.

Next time, maybe you two could visit Yunnan Province, it doesn’t have so much rains there, Kunming is the capital and it has a big lake in the middle of the city.
Other city recommendations: Changsha, Wuhan, Nanjing, Suzhou, and Hangzhou, all these cities are along the Yangtze River and more traditionally Chinese.
Henan Province: Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Kaifeng, Shaolin Temple is near Zhengzhou.
