Her tours are brilliant and there's always themes, stories, arcs to the sections of each tour... She reworks Like A Virgin in this tour into something really uplifting in a disco styling.. But the whole tour is brilliant. She puts so much creativity and energy into her tours
This was down to Stuart Price. M had said that she did not want to include LAV. Stuart worked in his own time on a version of LAV that sat Inbetween disco and modern electronica. She heard it and agreed to perform it as it was a kind of tongue in cheek performance. I really hope that Stuart will come back and work with her again one day. They produce gold when they are together. ❤️❤️🎅🎅

I became an instant fan of Madonna from the very beginning. It's been 40 years and I've almost broke up with her once. Only for not arriving until after Midnight for a Tuesday Night Tour Date! At a time that I returned to school to change my career and held two jobs. I was so tired by 1:30a that I had to leave. Of course, it was the tour where she included her very early songs after 15 years of not performing them. LOL!! Anyway, I always knew she be around for a very long time. I don't know how I knew back in 1983 but I did. What I really appreciate about Madonna is the shear joy she gets from performing for her fans. You can see it in her face. Especially when the disco ball first opens she's elated and takes a moment to really look at the audience before she begins to perform. Got to give it to her 40 years in a very fickle business and not one girl who came after her can touch her stiletto heels. I am happy to see someone who virtually knew nothing about Madonna that is smart enough to look beyond all the noise to truly discover the woman, the artist and the human that's always been there but wasn't or couldn't be seen by so many individuals. Her light shines so brillantly!

Erotica during this tour was absolutely beautiful and I remember my late husband (who wasn’t originally a Madonna fan) and I saw this show and he saw this performance and was truly overwhelmed and couldn’t believe how much he loved the show. Erotica/ put your hands all over my body is still one of those songs that I only have the strength to listen to sometimes. It just takes me right back to the show and the giant smile on his face and how astonished he was by Madonnas stage presence. I was already freaking out because Madonna is EVERYTHING.
I got to see her do this live and it was unbelievably overwhelming. When it blended into I Feel Love I almost freaked out since the song had already reminded me of it. Future lovers is such a favorite song of mine that I had all the lyrics tattooed onto my forearm. Madonna forever.

This is my favorite Madonna stage show. The entire concert is just fantastic with a great balance of new and older songs, as well as some nods to disco era hits. That was a great time for her. I own this on DVD and I don't get tired of re-watching it when I can.

I saw this at Wembley arena as well! I thought the same that she was already in the disco ball but Jamie King said she wasn't but he said exactly how she got in was a secret. 😂😂 My friend and I were so very lucky that night as they were filming the DVD and an American woman with a backstage pass came up and told us that our view would be blocked for almost all of the show. She said how many people are with you. I said two more because my friend and I had been sitting next to a woman who was there alone so we kept her company. The woman then handed me three tickets and told us to go out of the auditorium and go this other door marked on the ticket. We did and when we came in were in the third row right under the stage she does LAV on. I had never thought I would ever see her so up close. Then the cherry on the cake...under that raised platform there was a black curtain that I assume took you back stage. We saw Will Young go in (shorter in real life, I always thought he was tall). Then when the house lights went out Stella McCartney and Gwyneth Paltrow dived in quickly together. We could also see Kylie, Danni were standing at the side of the stage and they were totally dancing with William Baker. It was an incredible night and experience. I don't know who the woman was that gave us the tickets but I love her to bits!!! 😂😂❤❤
I think this was inspired from Kylie Minogue’s light years/I feel love. Which when you compare the two, you can definitely see why Madonna felt inspired by her and maybe why she had Kylie Minogue wrote across her T-shirt back before future lovers/I feel love was a thing. Oh yes, Madonna, forever thinking ahead lol. Love them both 💕2 Queen’s to me 👸👸 and actually check out Kylies light years, the production may not be as elaborate as Madonna’s but equally great mash up of the two songs.
