Just a case of the giggles. Nuns CAN giggle.
The Grey Riders... it's a great strategy - really - I have to be very careful here not to be misinterpreted, but I will endeavor to very carefully cut to the chase. These young virtuous women are the perfect weapon to use against our Enemy because men - even somewhat fallen ones - are particularly attracted to Virtue.
Sin is deeply attracted to Virtue, it cannot be otherwise; we are all made in God's image, because we are as we are made we *cannot* wholly reject our Source - God - cannot. Not even the Enemy [the enemy of our salvation] what's he trying to do? recreate himself as an alternate source-of-all; which of course cannot be true because the Enemy has never actually created anything - only corrupted.
The Enemy endeavors to entice Men - men particularly - away from the path to virtue, holiness, God, by corrupting and subverting. An antidote to the fallen is to offer an image of Virtue - hard to resist that. Place virtuous womanhood in the path of fallen men, what better strategy to lead men back towards Virtue?
