I did time with Cory while in prison , and yes we both fucked up to get ourself put in there , I can tell you that out of all the people I met in almost 8 years of prison , Cory was a very rare occurrence. He remained humble , honest, and a positive and motivating person to be around. He's back to skating now and it makes me really happy to see him doing what he enjoys in life.

@REVMATCH It was pretty wild , he would get copies of Thasher every month and after he was done with some of them ,He gave them out to people who would ask him for them. I still have Thrasher Issue #481 that was his. He gave it to me because I did The Mail Drop and an art envelope I sent from the prison was published in that issue. The pages are all wrinkle warped and the spine is taped together in some spots because the whole magazine got wet. But I was so happy and thankful for that beat up magazine. People take alot of things for granted in life and when you are stripped of even the simplest things inside the walls , a little gift like that can be remembered for the rest of a lifetime.

Cory has one of the best styles iv'e ever seen. He's also one of the top pros out there in my eyes, but he's pretty underestimated. My favorite pro by far.
