  • Welcome to part one of my patio makeover where I share the tiling using the Kmart light stone decking tiles. This is a great how-to guide for anyone wanting to use tile sheets and how to make it look seamless.

    It looks so good!! Looking forward to seeing your progress when Part 2 is ready!
    As a complete DIY beginner, it's interesting seeing all the steps and components that go into something like this.
    I also appreciate your transparency when it comes to the products you use and the costing of it all, and the things you've learnt previously and what not to do. I'm learning useful info while also being entertained. So, thank you! 💜💜

    Amazing job. I know you keep your DIY's and renovations down to as low a price as you can but the occasional splurge for something that makes you happy and is so beautiful is worth it.

    Looks amazing, you could make a faux piller out of foam for that pole with what ever finish would suite your homes facade

      Yeah I’m honestly not sure what to do with it. I was going to make the wall divider come off it and paint it

    looks great! (why are you taking all the stones off the backing? you do know it gets laid with that intact, right? so much easier than "Jigsaw puzzle")

      @@lynnd627 I have only taken the stones off some of the outside pieces so that it doesn’t look like squares then I can move some pieces around to fill in the gaps. I would be crazy to take them all off. That would take hours to lay them

    Hey, was the 20kg bag of grout enough for the job? I have a slightly bigger area to do!

      @user-xd6du9of2t  Před 6 měsíci

      Yeah the 20 kg bag was plenty it was just the glue but I did have to throw a heap out because I’d made it up and it rained all of a sudden
