Hey im using the same primer on my old beige kitcjen tiles and my primer is translucent ! Very milk colour but goes on clear and because my original tiles arent while i cant even see where ive painted! Wanted to check that yours was the same or if i got a dud tin? I always thought primer was meant to be white

I love that you involve Tahlia in decluttering her things, I had some of my things given away when I was a kid (to be fair, I didn't use them anymore as I was too old for them) and I'm still a little upset about it tbh lol It's probably good to start the habit of decluttering as a kid as well, it's taken me a very long time to be okay with letting things go (I'm very sentimental and get emotionally attached to things very easily 😣) and maybe if I'd been doing it since I was a kid, it wouldn't have been so hard? Anyway, at least it's always satisfying at the end when you see everything you're decluttering and all the space it's made! 💜💜

I actually got my deep corner fitted sheet from Amazon today and paid $40+ (for one). I didn’t realise Kmart now sell them, I’ll definitely check them out. We got rid of our Pullman vac, it was a pain in the bum! We went back to Henry brand for the business, so much lighter and no issues. You’ve done really well Steph, that’s awesome 😊❤

I started to watch part 2 because I got a notification for that and saw part 1 which I’ll watch first 😅 Great declutter ❤ The stamp is a great idea, where did you buy it? Oh geez, why do these things come in 3’s? Thats a bummer ☹️ I too don’t use my cook books anymore so I donated them, I look online if I want a recipe. I worked out that I save around $20 + a week using my coffee machine (thats deducting the cost of pods & milk) thats $80 a month! I was shocked.

I was in Kmart today and I saw that they have fitted sheets for the thicker mattresses,I brought a couple they were $19 each, thought of you straight away.I know you get yours from adairs.They must be new in 😊

I fully understand the stress u r going through right now not about learning about it all like u have to but my brother took his life 8 years ago and i still feels like yesterday it never leaves u and the sadness of it all and what we all went through. I am glad u doing this helps your mind relax from it all.

What is it with appliances all dying at once? I swear they send out some sort of signal to one another lol Is there somewhere that we can donate or something to help toward your new tires/dishwasher? Oh my god, that TV situation sucks! We were lucky enough to recently get gifted a new TV from my in-laws so now we have a spare one to give away and if you were in Perth you could totally have it…😌

Looking forward to Part 2! I had started a new routine where i find ten items in my home and either sell or donate/give away on local community page. I try to do this every Friday.

I've found the tshirts at Kmart have lasted really well - as in a number of years. Although it is important to check. Somethings aren't as fast as you would expect. I'm a large person who finds it hard to find clothes that fit at all at the op shop, so I think it's important to give yourself some grace with avoiding fast fashion - doing your best rather than aiming for perfection.

You could possibly get yourself an ABN and get some work in bond cleaning on weekends or through the week if you have time? Not sure what the demand for bond cleans is like where you are but it’s an idea. The going rate is around $40 + an hour for a sub-contractor and you invoice the company giving you the work. You will need to put aside some $’s for tax and public liability insurance. Just a thought love
