it's weird that the kia forte gt line's dont have wireless carplay but these do.
You are a natural at this, Trace! Keep it up, and you're going to climb to the top of auto reviewers. Pleasure to watch you work. Thanks!
Thank you for this video. Planning on buying this sometime next week. Fingers crossed that I can get it. Affordable and just what I need. I just want to get from point A to point B and play my music lol.
Great video!
I purchased a 2023 Forte GT line last November! I love it and would love for you to do a video on the Forte GT line!
great review
We got ours with 13k miles, now at 20k zero problems. Use Kia OEM oil filters to get rid of the engine noise
I own a 2022 Kia Forte LXS it’s the first year of the refresh and is identical to your car. Absolutely love it, it’s hard to find something you hate about it.
Loved it
good review bro
I liked this car and went to my local dealer for the advertised vehicle which was advertised as $3000 under MSRP. When I got to the lot they said that the car had dealer add ons which raised the price $3000. Altogether the add ons may have totalled $150.
I walked away. Maybe eventually dealerships will become honest. They don't seem to have gotten there yet.
They were committing fraud they own the car but they have to list it for exactly what they want to sell it for they can't mark it at or below msrp then hit you with unforseen pricing
@SHOCKNUTZ you're exteamly incorrect people are already not paying msrp especially at these interest rates. They're definitely not buying at these ridiculous dealer markups you'll get a sucker here and there especially for cars like the type r. but dealerships are barron with no customers currently their lots are beginning to over flow. I work in automotive manufacturing were still producing 300+k vehicles per year. Dealers just want to scam and its going to blow up in their faces. Soon they'll be giving away new and used cars to try to keep their doors open.
@@ronburgundy4375 I think alot depends on the type of vehicle that you are looking at. The location of the vehicle. Across the board they are selling many more mid size sedans than they are Dodge Rams. Especially in Southern California
@@ronburgundy4375 Ron, my comment may have caused some confusion. On the internet pricing there was a box and it said that that there could be dealer add ons. I did not state that in my initial comment and I apologize. I was taken aback because their add ons may have been $150 but they were charging $3000 for them.
@Shocknutzwhy are used prices about to drop?? I’m genuinely curious as I’m in the market for a new car but could possibly hold out for a little bit if used are about to drop. Thanks
I have to wonder where this was filmed at, it looks pretty peaceful and from the looks of it, decent winter weather response if yk what I mean
I own the exact same 23 LXS, their gas mileage rating is very generous I can get 35-40 mpg city consistently and 40+ highway
I bought a 2022Forte EX. Here in Canada and have about 11,600 kms on it and love this car. Fun to drive and like others have said. It feels like more than 147 hp.
Response time is fast. Interior fit and finish are done very well.
Is this reliable car I was also thinking to buy but I heard like kia gives trouble after 100k
@@dheerajverma4721im at 30k (used ive driven just 10k miles of that 30k) it drives amazing at 30k miles and doing normal maintenance tho im at 31k need to do 30k service i just need brakes worked on
Nice!
I have the 2019 EX. My best highway economy was 4.2L per 100 klm. Keep the rpm's under 2,000 no cruise control. My average highway city combined is 5.8L per 100klm.
I want the gt but I’d settle for this too
Hmm, intriguing. I have been looking into a new car since my Saturn SL1 had a new CAT converter being installed. I can't trust its lifespan. The Kia Forte models of the LX, LXS and GT-Line all sound like good future cars.
What's the size of steering wheel for a steering wheel cover?
i wished you remove the ice

Don’t know if it’s the camera but I’ve been other forte’s the same year 2023 and 2022 the GT trim and lesser trims and this particular car is smaller and plainer looking then the other ones not sure if it’s just a camera illusion or what but this one isn’t as sleek and nice as the others
Sir, what do you mean by 'plain Jane'. I know but this can mean so many things. Please say more. This Forte is on my list.
Have you heard any complaints of misfiring on the 2023 models? Just picked one up 2 days ago and I feel it misfiring!
Is the issue still ongoing
Still issue? How can you tell it’s misfiring
Should I spend the extra money and get the GT-line instead of the LXS? Just want a affordable but nice looking car.
what did you end up going with? im currently debating on the LXS & Gt line too
@@ginxxo13 I ended up getting a used 2022 Kia Rio s tech package included. It was more affordable and kept my insurance cheap too.
i LEASED ONE 3Y 36K
Nice Presentation it would help
If you would of washed the Car😮
I just bought one for 26000 out the door 2023 lxs like it cheaper than Corolla forester
They are all marked up with add ones mine was 22451 I got it out the door for 26000 4 grand cheaper than Corolla an suburu forester
I got LX for my daughter 23000 out of door, they was trying to jack me up at 30000 but I’m not a fool 😂they tell you we added like 4000 for market adjustment fee . Yea right 😂😂😂
Just go for a gt
Chevy Impala 16 or this
I can't see myself driving a car with a stingy 147HP, I need at least 180, that's why the Honda Civic Touring would be the way to go as far as I'm concerned.
tbh it feels like it has more than 147.
Id go with the gt then it has like 200hp
Even the base 2023 Toyota Corolla LE (cheapest base trim) has 169 HP.
You will pay way more for Toyota or Honda
That’s good for you ig?
Bad engine sound
