Whilst part one of Fare Well looked at the year that’s gone by, the second phase turns to look at us today and to give thanks for the many acts of community and kindness displayed by so many across the country. Jackie Kay’s narrative takes an optimistic tone, reflecting on the good of the human spirit and the sense of togetherness that has emerged from 2020.
Part two of Fare Well includes images of “WE” in the skies above Edinburgh - a message from Scotland of universality and commonality - with “WE” translated into many languages including French, Gaelic, Arabic, Greek, Korean, Mandarin and Thai. - Zábava

Agreed. My dad migrated from Scotland and we are living in New Zealand, another brilliant wee country in the world. Stay safe people, we are currently Covid free in my community and have been since May. We know how lucky we are.

Gone the ear shattering explosions disturbing man and beast, instead, a feast of poetic peace. Gone, the repetitive blinding flashes on the eye and gone the sulfurous, sickly smells, which once permeated crystal clear Scottish air, as now in awe we gaze upon the triumphant unmatched display, heralding in Scotland's New Year.
Wonderful heart touching words and a touching voice. Best I've ever heard and seen for end of year, called Hogmanay in Scotland 😍. Much more better than firework, noise and party elsewhere. My heart belongs to Scotland; greetings from Switzerland 🙋♂️

I've now experienced 28 Hogmanays in Edinburgh since 1990 & I can't think of anywhere I'd rather see in a New Year - only missed a couple due to illness so being able to watch this means everything to me. Thank you to everyone who put this together and Jackie Kay for the most beautiful words. Wishing everyone the best for 2021 and Edinburgh Hogmanay - HASTE YE BACK!

In such a sad year it is nice to stop and remind oneself what a beautiful, creative country and city I live in. Especially useful to remember that "we" is many, We share the same stars the same planet. Thankyou.
yeah, so many talented people so many smart people and they let themselves down my acting stupid greedy arrogant selfish andirrisponsable and two-faced a lie to get what decent people deserve because they earn, creative and do things for a reason and yet it decent people like me that get treated as outcasts just because we look and act different and people never think of reasons why, I mean this Brexit crap, all our Indian, Chinese, etc takeaway, Aldi and ladles are german and a lot of our computers internet and tv and clothes are made from other country's, and our foods and money come from other countries like Ikea is. sweedish so thanks to bretex we will have none of them now thanks to this who voted yet for brexit it won't be long till child benifits any type if disabilitys benafits will be cut thanks to brexit between Scotland and England they never learn from each othere, or listen to each othere then they get themself in a rut then moan and winge, then the loss of jobs, etc then back to the dark ages while richer become richer poorer becomes poorer and no one would listen to me because there to bussy beliveing dumb blond all wemen are the same and acting like they grew up in 1940 I mean I throught every ggenerations diffrent but there still act like imachure men if it's not an easy target for adult s word its thrown away like a used book, people assume withought seeing judge that way withought known and judge by hear say, I mean I am a blue eyed blond I am no dumb blond I do have my moments lol and we are defenetly no the same and just because I dont have the confince to flirt like most because im not an easy target for you know what and I have reason to do what I do, and I know what I whant and I read in between the lines before jumping into things and I do not judge withought know because I am responsable and earn and deserve love and what id love for my future and I know the diffrence between right and wrong, honestly no wonder im terrified of uk independance they allow themselfs to be use they never liisten to reason, that is why this contry has fallen they never think before jumping ito things like this brexit none of you lot throught about the concequences of your actions, what might and might not happen but no just vote without thinking make a much of it and moan instead of useing comonsense that most of uk people cant understan, and this independence I am not scared and I am because we have never prepared and still were jumping into, id say were not ready for independace or brexut till we all realn what we just said, by all means im not moaning I know what brexit and independance mean I wish my people you all well, its a good thing or bad thing id never interfer in anyone life, but think before you reape make plans and check the signs before you do and save yourself and the future kids the pain of our arrogance and listen and read what im trying to say and read into what im trying to say, I don`t care what people think about me, I know its none of my buisness, but befire you moan at mean think as I would think when I say this quote " if I can take one thing amidst of all this horror and make it usefull and nice end better,", by all means live your own lifes the way you whant to, I am not trying to change things for the bad sorry if anyone thinks that is not my intentions, I am trying to help maje the world a better place for our futre its nothing to do with my belifes in anything its to do with the human heart for anyone even yours sake just listen to me, im just trying to help.
